He was actually skipping the bullets off the concrete under the squad into the officers in driveway.
You could see the round impact the ground before hitting the first officer.
LOL The shooter looks like he might have tripped on his way to the squad car.
And every officers bodycam conveniently turned off just before the suspect took a nasty fall 😂
The neighbors across the street must have been thrilled to have their home turned into a shooting gallery.
So whose bright idea was it to park right in front of his house? That seems like the last place you’d want to be.

This is about 4 miles from my house in Knoxville. He had his disabled mother hostage.
Imagine working the graveyard shift at a shitty job and finally get some rest and then you have to hear and deal with this next door. I would get pissed when my neighbor simply mowed their grass at a reasonable hour.
You'd be surprise how much ammo some people have.

Most gun owners have a few hundred to 1000 per gun they own. One rifle we have as a family we have well over 10k rounds.
I don’t know about that, I have a few guns but I don’t have thousands of rounds, couple of boxes for each.

Those guys froze. Didnt return any fire or make an attempt to move. FIRE AND MOVEMENT! But their biggest mistakes were 1) parking directly across street, 2) running directly in line with the open garage. 🤦♂️
They probably couldn’t see where he was shooting from and didn’t want to spray rounds into the house blindly.
No clear target. You don't fire unless you have a clear target or no choice. They knew they couldn't evacuate with the time and ammo they had so they sat and waited for a clear shot or extraction. The other officers fired because they had no choice and needed the officers extracted. Once a TQ is on you have hours.
@@m2hmghb id say the choice was made for them as soon as officer #1 got shot. At that point you HAVE to return fire and MOVE. Sitting behind that cruiser is a death trap. Cars are poor cover, made obvious by the fact that both cops got shot.
@@John_Redcorn_ They were safer there then in the open. They knew how bad they were, they knew how far away help was. Figure 60 rounds in the rifle and 45 rounds per pistol . That is not a lot of ammo when you would be firing to suppress the whole time. If you'll notice 5-7 officers rotated covering fire as they exfil.
@@m2hmghb there are ways to fire and move as a 2-man team. And especially since one got shot, youre in the kill zone: gotta gtfo of there asap. Why the second dude ran from a safe spot beside the house and ran out in the open right in front of the garage, back turned, makes me question his decision making. Lol

If we're talking about gun-involved incidents, daily, ONLY because of people in ghettos committing gang violence in metropolitan areas. Otherwise, really rare actually. USA is actually mostly rural, and a lot of rural individuals are responsible gun-owners who will only fire at animals, targets, and the very occasional human threat.
Also, with the rise of mental illnesses and the ability to obtain a firearm regardless of legality, shooting incidents from people with clean or mostly clean records are committing more and more acts of violence now. I would never dismiss it, but it's still "under control". It's not a rampant nationwide thing like the Purge or anarchy. The UK is actually worse per capita in terms of violence and crimes towards one another. Sxual crimes and assaults are just as prevalent over there.
