@thahirshibu5042 nah she can use them anytime she enters the 2nd phase. Happened to me when she was like 40% health just after using her dual sword ult
She got me with that attack the first time and killed me. I had a good laugh at such a cool move, but such a trick only surprised and worked once. Still badass and fun as heck to use.
That's crazy, whenever this would happen I'd just stand there with my shield and I'd lose very little HP. You don't even need to jump. Half the challenge is your own head 😂
Yeah that was my one complaint with that attack tbh. I think it should maybe let you dodge again for the third if you get hit by the first. It being an automatic one shot was kind of annoying. Then again, aside from the initial surprise of what the attack did, it’s really easy to dodge. I only sometimes would still get caught by the second if my jump didn’t come out right away.
@@timklafke4712 Similar to Radagon slamming his hammer against the ground 3 times, if you're hit by the first attack you can avoid taking damage from the second one if you're still down Rellana's twin moons are an instant kill if you're hit by the first, even if you survive the first the other 2 will still hit you
@@jasonheath7045 yeah ground i frames would be nice as well. You just literally get juggled by her moon slams lmao. It was definitely funny the first time being caught off guard by it, but its just dumb knowing that no matter what it one combos you if you get hit by the first part.
The point is that it's very bs to someone who hasn't seen the attack, if you don't know they slam down your gonna think that they're gonna come at you like the full moon spells, and if you get hit by one it true combos into the other 2 hits leading to an unfair kill on your best attempt so far

I actually found Messer not that difficult. His fight just clicked right away. 2nd-3rd time entering his boss room I second phased him and got him to around 25%. Took me about another 10-15 tries to actually beat him though. Rennalla though. Geez I found her fairly brutal. Even with Leda and my Mimic Tear.
Really- These moons are prolly one of the easyer attacks to dodge. Your jump disables your lower bodys hitbox. Legs and hips iirc. and the animation is longer than your dodge roll. Jump 3 times. Itll make your life better. and this attack a joke.

I found that out after moon 1

Literally how it felt the first time I encountered it lmao. Me and my friend both got nuked so hard.
“Remember your jumping skills, tarnished? Yeah you’re going to need them”
An interesting move, since if you get hit by the first one, you taking damage from every hit in that combo thereafter.
Ahh yes, the Soul of Cinder Special
This dlc I love it death. The scaling is way more than I imagined in a level 185 with 70 vigor and everything kills me in 3-4 hits
I thought I was overleveled at 130 when I started 😭, just to find out I get two shotted by everything. W dlc though

🎶 you take the moon and you take the moon and you take the moon and you take the moon 🎶

I just beat her and never saw her use that move after like 10 attempts
Only twice for me. Only happens when she's at 30% or less by the looks of it
@thahirshibu5042 nah she can use them anytime she enters the 2nd phase. Happened to me when she was like 40% health just after using her dual sword ult
Her easiest attack to avoid, just jump
For some reason, even jumping the attack still got me...
3 attempts and not once she busted out the twin moons, granted I straight up jumped her with Leda and Mimic

I wanna use a moon against da moon
Talismans of non-physical damage negation, magic damage negation, and increased HP = survival.
I feel like I’m going insane on this boss
Elden Ring be building up that Madness in real life as well.
The pontiff slam after is insane
Never thought of jumping lol. I just rolled. Radagon thought me well
The moons kinda look like a pair of... never mind
At least i beat her with milady, love that weapon
When I had a build that made me fat roll I just jumped when the attacks hit the ground and I was fine
Fun fact, despite making a heavy weight build, jumping helps with the mobility regardless of weight. Except for Overburdened.
70 vigor and if I miss that dodge on the first moon I know I'm dead guaranteed. She's so hard 😭😭 even when I do dodge the moons I still can't beat her
Pretty much, yeah. Last time I saw big glowing balls, they slowly careened towards me and exploded. I did not see this coming lol.
The moons are like a break from the combos if you ask me
i felt bad cheesing her with bleed, an actually well designed boss, just had to speed things up after 30-ish attempt

Jumping makes it much easier to time it
I learned how to jump over them but I saw she liked to do that Huge Carian Sword attack right after and she obliterated me 90% of the times 😅
I was up until 7am this morning fighting that mess. I decided to pull out the mimic and the npc summon and just cheese her to death
I know the limit of my abilities, and I legitimately don't think I could've done that fight without them. 😭
No way that worked... I just solod with parried and lightning affinity weapons.
