@@21mejia25 Actually I have never tried them. I would imagine that they would work, being they are natural prey for Bass and Catfish. I would exercise caution here though because I believe they are considered a gamefish by the Fish and Game Department which makes it illegal to use them as bait. I would double check the regulations beforehand if you plan on trying them for bait.

Fish those crappies out of that pond if you ever want a healthy bass population. Crappies are a bass fry killers.
