This doesn't work. There is a flaw with the wifi card in the PS5. This is not normal. Users are not even seeing any networks even the one just 6 feet away in the same room. It should never be this hard. I just bought one for my son yesterday. This is the one with the disc drive included and after updates and installing 1 game and shutting it down and turning it back on it stopped seeing any networks. You should not have to reboot your wireless access point everytime. Apparently this is a big issue for a lot customers and should be addressed or even acknowledged by Sony.

I have a problem where my PS5 literally doesn't see any wireless connection and all my other devices can. I can connect via LAN because the router is in the room beside mine, but that shouldn't be a problem since its literally just beside my room. Any ideas?
Have u heard of an issue with connecting to the lan wire with a message that pops up saying how to authenticate? I cant get my lan wire to connect to my ps5, says it cant find the i.p. address.
By accident i typed in a wrong password to my wifi router on my PS5 std. edition - and now it won’t let me type in a new correct password. So I’m kind of stuck here. Is there a work around besides resetting the whole damn thing? Kind regards, Stef
Mine waa running fine off the router until suddenly it wouldn't run well, I switched the band to 5g and back to normal, makes no sense considering the previous experience, but the 5g switch did the trick
Unplugging the router worked for me. I dont know what the deal is with ps5. It will work for weeks and then disconnect for no reason when all my other devices work. Technology!😖 So damn frustrating!

My problem was my google ipv6 address on my router. changed to cloud flare dns ipv4 and ipv6 and that fixed my issue.
