Recreating Outfits I Saw On Pinterest | 5 Looks

- Hello my friends!
This past month I have been diving into some new ways of living. 2020 kicked off my first ever #LowBuyYear. What is a #LowBuy year you may ask? It's exactly what it sounds like, making more conscious purchases through the power of setting rules and making present decisions when consuming products. I was inspired through my friend Christina of Style Apotheca.
In this video I explore my own wardrobe and recreate looks I have been loving on Pinterest. I have been looking to create a closet I can love and reuse for years to come. Mixable and matchable items are key. I have started to realize I want my items to be desirable in my eyes because they were well thought out. The counter to this is simply acquiring things I don't need. This is the first step. I am learning to establish my style and thus fall in love with what I have. I honestly got butterflies after shooting the content for this video. I felt like I had finally put a new life into pieces I forgot I loved.

Love that replicate style, also you open your mind, and I'm recuing some stuff that I haven't Use, like Courdoroy, It's such a friendly fabric, that as well I'll use this pants and jackets. Great idea using Pinterest, Another hack is pulling all your clothes out and sometimes When you see two peices you have together is A Ah-ha moment.

Try Uniglo for a nice white shirt. I was just ironing my white blouse this afternoon and turned to my husband and said, I love this blouse, I have so many white blouses, but this one is so soft and beautiful and the one I reach for all the time. I bought it last year, so not sure if you can find this one. I love the navy blue outfit with the gold shoes. I think I have those shoes. Are they suede? Mine are. I will put this outfit together for work. Thank you. Oh, I also have a pair of tasseled Cole Han loafers, that I never wear, but I will wear them now with the classic white blouse and jeans. I have an awesome pair of light wash jeans from Targets, I recently purchased. They have one small hole by the hip and a small rip on the knee. They also cuff to wear above the ankle or rolled down to wear with heels. They are straight leg and high waisted. Thanks again. I just subscribed! Loved this video. I have so much clothes from years of working in an office but I always need some inspiration on new ways to combine them. I have all the basics to make the new combinations, I just need someone like you to shake up my brain. :-)
Oh my goodness Anita! Thank you for leaving such a thoughtful comment and taking the time to write all of this out. I think it's always so funny when we reflect on how many pieces we have (even similar pieces) but we always grab for the same ones. I ended up wearing that blue outfit at work the next day after realizing how well those pieces work together! The shoes are faux suede! Tracey Budgell hi Tracey! Nope those are right ☺️ The white tee is Babaton from Aritzia and the oversized jacket I found last spring at Zara! I've seen very similar items at other shops though. I also love the white tees from Marks actually (Denver Hayes brand). Thanks for watching!
