Tycho as Season 3 Champion takes on the Winner from this game • Season Champions Fight... . Tycho brings his Chaos Space Marines to the battlefield in an effort to crown himself the Champion of this, Season Not 3. In his way is the victor of a battle between Season 1 Champion Rupert and Season 2 Champion Tak. Which former season champion will take the crown?

When I saw this 40k in '40 min' was only 30 min I was wondering 'whos getting wiped?' And when Tycho wiped the spiders I was like alright lets go my Chaos boi's and then the Hellbrute, Disco Lord and Venomcrawler all went down! Actually kept me very intrigued despite knowing someone was going to be thrashed

Absolutely! I can't afford to build an army though I plan to eventually get some and try my hand at painting. But his is a good substitute
Given how strong Rupert's showings are I'm impressed how big the gap was. Just highlights how well Tycho played here.

He really is a good example of how clever movement can win games
I started a Death Guard army because of how awesome Tycho is with them!!! That being said he rocked that game.
Insanity how HARD Tycho punched here! I shudder to imagine how the game had gone if he had NOT lost several strong models top of turn 1! Dude basically played down 800 points and absolutely STOMPED!

It might be a wrong impression, but based on several reports featuring Rupert he gives me an impression of a smug person. That time he said to Mike "Your rolls are bad, but that's not why you're losing". C'mon, unless they are the best mates, it's kinda rude.
So it was nice to see Tycho winning this one!
Yeah I never liked Ruperts previous games, he came across as clinical, cold and arrogant, the very sort of gamer I would avoid. But maybe its the only way to play Eldar? It does seem like he has somewhat mellowed since last time, but glad that he was beaten on camera showing he's not invincible

he always deep strikes his oblits. Strange cuz they're range is off the chain and turn 1 they get exploding 6s. Am i missing something? I can see warp striking terminators to make your charge at starting strength but the oblits can more than survive turn 1 especially if you have a MoP

Hahaha I wear a lot of warhammer hats. Chaos is my true love but played a ton of Blood Angels in tournaments. I think my best win rate for armies is actually Orks!

I don't think there has been a single player on this channel I didn't like. Although Tycho and Nick are my current favorites.
I enjoyed the after action discussion. It helps people understand how the game may have been different based on choices that were not ideal during gamelplay.
What I love about Tychos army is almost every model (all but venom crawler?) is 3rd party. Showing you can still have fun being mini agnostic and playing with minis that you like rather then being the typical 40k player where it has to be gw models to play the game. you cannot regain more than one cp per battle round, turn two rupert used a spell that gave him a cp, and then he rolled a six to regain cp for a deadly embrace harlequinn stratagem. you cant do that,
Second game he's done that as well, kinda shocking that these guys play in tournaments yet seem to forget or misinterpret core rules all the time.
@@captainweekend5276 reason is the 2 games are probable being played close together. The other thing he also cant do is use strands of fate for Harlequins in Ynnari

@@iHumanist Yeah but I'm talking about the guys as a group, all of them attend tournaments yet seem to constantly get very simple rules wrong when playing on the channel. Even if Rupert hasn't played in a while the other guys should catch things like the CP refund limit, especially over a couple of games. I also know that they do warmup games since they've talked about it in the past, I doubt Rupert just turned up to the table without any practice or an extensive reading of his rules.
You are most correct! We both made some mistakes, don't think it swayed the outcome too much. Sorry! We strive to get better and get things right so we can present the best game we can but clean missed that here.

They spend 1CP to give it to the champion. The strat specifies the options and the rune is one of them
