I'm 33 with a ton of newly found patience. Just now getting into hunting. This will be my first year turkey, deer and bear hunting. Keep the videos coming!
New to hunting too with lots of time on my hands and stoking on hunting. Much love from Spokane Washington
Same here man.
Well, then I should be pretty well prepared. I've got 26 years of being patient. I'm from Houston and I started at 12 o'clock yesterday and I'm writing this at 2:16 in the morning just outside of Birmingham Alabama March 2 which as far as I've been told is turkey season which works out because my inheritance was an over under 12 gauge.!!! and I couldn't afford a proper bow.
I had a buddy I met in community college, who I thought was still living in Canada, who taught me archery and makes his own bows but he.... I got tired of being patient and not having any of my phone calls returned but always having to return phone calls and do things for other people.
Ted Kozinski was right man he was right about every single goddamn thing except targeting a secretary at a random Bank of America location instead of just figuring out where someone like Ben Bernacki lives lives 🤷🏾♀️
Let’s see a vid of the more advanced stuff you talked abt!
Y'all should do this lol
Let’s see some “more advanced turkey calling” videos!
Am preparing for my very first Turkey hunt. After listening I feel a lot more confident that I can have a chance at success. Thanks for the info!
How did it go?
I really like how we can watch Lee develop as a turkey hunter. Jealous he gets to learn from the goat
Blessings and respect from a new hunter in South Ontario Canada. Thank you very much for the great video. Stay safe 🙏
Advanced turkey hunting sounds good to me. I always like to hear from others about hunting. there is always something to add to your hunting routine. Thanks & GOD BLESS.
My son and I are going out for our first turkey hunt. We so appreciate this video!!
Great video jay, very informative. Love this channel.
I appreciate this breakdown, I am new to hunting period. And it's been hard to find consistent information on hunting period. Nothing is 100%, or can replace experience. But for someone who has fished his whole life. Hunting is the most challenging thing I have done yet. 3 years no birds so far going out again this year in 2 weeks. And 5 years no deer lol, I am hoping this is my year though :).
Did you get one yet?
Did you get one yet?
@@TheSaikaDelic nope, skunked again. But at least I got to draw my bow back. That’s the closest I have been to getting one.
If that's your expert opinion, then I have to believe it's purely just experience and different strokes for different folks. I'm traveling the country pretty much as a nomad until I get up enough money to buy enough acreage to build on, and I've gone fishing more than a few times. I wouldn't say I'm terrible but I end up catching the weirdest shit. I'm not using Annette. I'm using a fishing rod. Keep in mind. Remember, catching a crab and when I was a kid, I somehow caught a muscle.... with a fishing hook
@@Wetknees I have crab down, fishing mostly mastered for specific species. I finally got two turkey under my belt and 3 deer now. Hunting is considerably harder than fishing though. Animals like to move to private land so if you get your own land you’ll likely be good esp if you can find something bordering public.
One of the best and most informative videos on turkey hunting out there!!!
I just got my hunting licenses again this year. Haven't hunted since I was 12. Now I'm 27. Been awhile and just got a spring Turkey tag and plan on going out hopefully this month
A lot of knowledge there for the beginner and the pro. I am always looking for tips and tricks. Thanks.

Just put in for my first turkey draw. The more I watch all this information the more excited I get. Something new compared to deer hunting.
Where do you live that you have to draw for turkey?
I don’t think people realize how smart turkeys are. Round of applause !
Thanks for the video. I actually just pickup up one of those Stevens 301 .410s. Great little gun. Would be great to see some more decoy tips.

Never held a gun in my hands, this vid got me excited! Heading out to store now
Thx buddy. I've never been turkey hunting until today in the evening. And u solved my problem! I was at the bottom of 2 hills with creek running between ! I had tom calling back but they never come down hill!!!!! He was 60 yrds from me and could never get him to come closer! Abort mission ! I watch this video! Thank you
great teaching skills
Thank you!
Great video!
Cool video!
This video is awesome. I wish I had started Turkey hunting sooner.
Definitely wanna see some more decoy tips
Great Video!!!!!
Awesome tipsy 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Excellent!
Probably the most helpful Turkey hunting tips I've seen on UA-cam, you should make how to make mouth call sounds videos unless you already have.
Very informative video Jay! Only thing I would question is the aging of a Tom. Obviously a Jake is easily identified by his tail feathers but after he turns 2 years old, there isn’t an easy way to tell if he’s 2, 3, 4, 5, or 8. The spurs and beard do not indicate age based of scientific research. Check out some of Dr. Mike Chamberlain’s (from UGA) literature or podcast that’s he’s been on.
Jay the GOAT turkey hunter on youtube and that's on Jimmy and them
Definitely more videos to show in depth of each. For decoys, have you tried the funky chicken (skinny jake)?
Would love to hear more calling tips
advanced calling please guys!!! love the vids
Good stuff
Nice shot!
Definitely would like to see a video of advanced tactics.
Brand new to hunting. Please do a video on plucking a turkey. I would prefer to not waste the dark meat from a kill. Not interested in skinning . This video was extremely informative to me. Thank you for taking the time to put this together
Yes do calling techniques
I love Turkey hunting with a bow! Wish I would have started earlier, but we didn't have Turkeys around here when I was a young'n.
Just got my first turkey today, 28 years old. Sadly it was only a Jake but everybody’s gotta start somewhere.
Thank you... I'm just getting into the hunting ( not went on my first hunt yet ) , and I'm nervous because I don't have anyone to go out with. So it's hard to do it
I would like to see more advanced calling and decoying videos, thank you.
Great info. Thanks. New to Turkey Hunting. Need info where to go next.
Advanced calling tips would be awesome
Love to turkey hunt, normally have a place in Nebraska a friend and I go, although I am not a wild turkey eater.
its 6:25am bouta head out now wish me luck yall
That Halloran call sounds sick!
Mouth call wasn't to shabby either! Lol
That was excellent I would love to see how you cook your turkey legs thanks
There are flocks of turkeys in my neighborhood in Spokane that number in the 30s that just saunter all over the place, in front of cars, on lawns, streets, gardens, you name it. I think they know they're safe from us and other predators in town despite seeming to not be the brightest bird out there.
Let’s see more advanced videos or a series!
Let's see more videos like this
Thanks for a great video. What is the gun you are using and set up
Would love to see an advanced video!
Lol that decoy POV!
More calling, and let’s see how you cook those stringy turkey legs… good job!… subscribed!
my parents have 19 acres with more turkeys then i could kill if i tried everyday. Im so excited for the challenge. Also, literally the cool ass intro made me subscribe off the bat lol
Nice video
Thanks for going into detail on this. I am new at this . This will help alot.
More advanced stuff please. I am dying to learn to cut better with a mouth call. I can cut a bit, but the fast cadence stuff I can’t seem go figure out. Thanks. Awesome video
Great Video Jay, Yes PLEASE do a cleaning a Turkey Video would you? Thanks, Dave
Any tips on how to skin a turkey if you plan on mounting it? Where to cut or not to cut?
