Beneath the Surface: the Ripple Effect

The Ripple Effect, is our two year working with a group of residents from Salisbury. We are exploring the River Avon as it changes through the seasons and the construction of the Salisbury River Park project. This partnership project between the Environment Agency and Wiltshire Council aims to reduce the risk of flooding to 350 properties within Salisbury along with new habitat space for wildlife and green spaces for people to enjoy.
The Ripple Effect is all about connection. Through this creative heritage project our archaeology experts, artist James Aldridge, the Environment Agency team and our amazing participants are learning about a sense of place, the landscape, ecology and exploring how to be a great ancestor.
