Got to HR9 last night with the gunlance, swapped to adept around the big golden boy, but am currently testing myself with Valor. I admit after 10 Brachydios not giving me their tail through capture and Glavenus being like "I got you homie" made me a LITTLE bias against Brachy (He totally dropped the 8% and 5% items multiple times though). I'm now currently doing a bit of hub in order to get absolute readiness, because that skill is absolutely cracked. These have been helpful in making me not want to press the slam button on the charging Nargacuga, so thanks.
I think absolute readiness is really useful for Gunlance. Adept saves sharpness too. I think Valor is very versatile and friendly. I'm happy these help you even if it's a tiny bit.
