  • On this weekly review, we blast into the past with an absolutely stunning 1965 Corvette C2 Stingray in pretty rare Nassau Blue. An almost all original car, in its current form it has a 454 Blueprint stroker V8 making 454 horsepower! This 1965 Corvette Stingray is one of the best-sounding cars I have ever heard with side venting exhausts.
    In this 1965 Corvette C2 Stingray review, the owner Brent and I detail the exterior, interior, knock-off wheels, little history of the car, and take a POV drive through the country. This turned out to be one of the most incredible days to shoot a 1965 Corvette C2 Stingray considering it was shot in February. Honestly, this 1965 Corvette Stingray ranks up there as one of my favorite cars on the channel.
    The 1965 Corvette Stingray just has a sense of occasion and history that you just do not get from modern cars. We also think the 1965 Corvette C2 Stingray is a great buy right now and will not only hold its value but appreciate as we move into an EV-driven world. We did our best to talk about the 1965 Corvette C2 Stingray's interior, detailed the knock-off wheels, the soft top operation, engine, and give you a sense of how it drives.
    This 1965 Corvette C2 Stingray is not a resto-mod and other than the more powerful engine is completely stock. I will say while fast it's not something you can really blast through in the corners. The 1965 Corvette C2 Stingray jas a boaty feeling and a pretty light steering wheel, with brakes that just do not stand up to modern times. But, the 1965 Corvette Stingray is a pleasure to drive with the soft top and it's something to be enjoyed on a nice cruise.
    One thing I absolutely loved about the 1965 Corvette C2 Stingray is the pop-up headlights. We showed these towards the end of our exterior overview and they're a fun element of the 1965 Corvette C2 Stingray. Pop-up headlights have always been a personal favorite, and I wish automotive manufacturers would go back to them.
    As always, we sincerely appreciate any support of the channel. Please share this with any fans of the 1965 Corvette Stingray and we will look out for your comments.

    Beautiful!! I have a restored 1967 Corvette L79 Coupe, and its a blast to drive. I love it!!

    That is 350 hp not 355. They referred this as a L79, also available in Chevy 2’s. Also you could get a365 solid lifter version and a 375 Fuel Injected engine. Another option which was introduced late was Corvettes 1st Big Block 396 rated at 425 hp but the next year the same engine was rated at 375 hp in Chevelles and Camaro…..Charles Chappell

      @johnthonig1692 Рік тому

      Yep
      There was also an L75
      327-300 hp as well.
      Maybe even a 327-250 hp?

      I tell everyone this story, so bear with me. Malcom Konner Paramus NJ, 1977. A ‘65 vette red with black interior. I’m 18 and I had just come into some money. The salesman laughs at me in my jeans and tank top and I get insulted and leave. 10k was the price and I could have paid him in cash. Kicking myself in the butt ever since! 😂. Pride cometh before the fall.

      William Sullivan wowzers! Pretty trusting mama your old pal must have had! Unless of course the two of you were taking it out on the sly... Lol. Either way, that must have been awesome and pretty mind-blowing stuff for two young adolescents to be able to get out and do unchaperoned! Was it a 4speed?

    I had two like that back in the day and i had enough sense and testosterone to avoid puting side pipes on them. I think they look like shit and don't impress most real car guys. Only a fraction of the vettes then had the clutter of side pipes.

      Correct me if I’m wrong but a guy I knew had a 64 with side pipes. Said it was supposed to keep you cooler than pipes under car which when the car is moving doesn’t mean much but his wife burned her calf on pipe so he moved the pipes to conventional and left side covers for looks and said it was a good move

    1. It's a Mid Year Corvette, not C2z, 2. The lights roll open, pop ups were on the next generation!
