  • The Petzl SAMA and ADJAMA harnesses are comfortable to hang in, they enable your body’s full range of motion on gymnastic-like routes, and promote good airflow between your body and the contact points.
In order to make these harnesses comfortable to hang in and flexible enough to enable your body’s full range of motion, the waist belt and leg loops are constructed using our ENDOFRAME technology.
The SAMA and ADJAMA harnesses are more than just standard climbing harnesses. Available in various sizes from small to extra-large, the SAMA and ADJAMA are the ideal option for intermediate-to-advanced climbers who spend a lot of time in a harness.

I own a sama and I love it. Very comfortable but get the proper size! I lost weight and needed to downsize

which one is the most confortable one for suspension? sama, aquila or corax?

That is a very good question. It all depends on what kind of comfort you are looking for. Supportive comfort. Minimizing pressure point comfort. Breathability comfrot. etc. The AQUILA is built using the FUSEFRAME method, SAMA is built using the ENDFOFRAME method, and CORAX is built using the FRAME method. Each type of frame delivers a different type of comfort.

@@petzlna thanks, I am asking about suspension confort, for example when hanging a long time for brushing something

@@MrHassancehef I'd go with the AQUILA for supportive comfort or the SAMA for cushioned comfort.

Thanks for the review! Which one would be best to do long via ferrata's? I'm planning on doing a bunch of them this summer so the most important thing is lightweight and comfort right?

also my waist is 92 (without clothes) and legs 55 (with climbing pants) so a L is to small for my waist and XL to large for my legs..

Why would anyone prefer the SAMA when it appears you can get the same thing with the ADJAMA with the addition of adjustable leg loops? The SAMA must have been manufactured without adjustable leg loops for a reason. My other issue with SAMA is that I own one, and its waist belt comes loose. The mechanism for securing it could be improved.

Fixed leg loops are less fussy. No need to worry about buckles flipping open or snagging on the rock while climbing. Downside is they don't fit everyone. I have 3 harnesses and all are fixed leg loops.
