    fun fact about season two winner heather west, she had to go through the entirety of her hell's kitchen career with severe tourette's, which is part of the reason why she is constantly wiping her face even when there's no sweat. she had a tick, and behind the scenes, gordon would make sure she's doing okay. heather then went on to beat bobby flay in the show "beat bobby flay". she's a badass.

      Tbf, Patrick did have a really bad service where he constantly miscooked the meat and he even struggled with calling out an order. Also, Patrick was breaking down at this point where even if he did stay, he wasn't going to last much longer. But at least Patrick got the opprtunity to lead Christina to victory with a good finale service while Tiffany didn't even show up to the finale so he definitely got the last laugh.

      1. It’s still a mystery to this day
      2. Because Ramsay didn’t start eliminating chefs off the winning team until the next season with Carol(S5) so it was down to either Louross or Jen since the blue team lost and considering that Louross was on a decline and a table walked out on him, I do think his elimination was justified.
      3. Obviously this was a pretty weak cast so I mean Virginia making it to the final 2 was expected to happen. Not to mention Keith was lacking leadership skills in his run and he totally bombed hard at the final 3 pass performance. Heather was gonna win the season from the start anyway so it’s not like anything would’ve changed.

      @@rayewaddell9668Honestly I don't even think Virginia should've made it to the final 3. Her surviving over Garrett just because he served one raw chicken was dumb, and even though Sara was... • @rayewaddell9668
      @rayewaddell9668 5 місяців тому +4

      @@Commenter839 No but we do gotta remember now that this was an old school season. I say Heather was the only best chef out that season who was gonna win it all. Keith was good too but Ramsay had to be on his ass a lot at times. He can cook but I didn’t see enough leadership qualities out of him. Not to mention he’s been call out consistently for his poor attitude and lack of professionalism time and time again. There’s a good reason why Heather was put on the blue team to even begin with. With Heather having those qualities and Keith lacking those qualities, there’s obviously a problem here. Ramsay has given Keith multiple opportunities to change his ways but come time to the final 3, he literally doesn’t make the effort to do any of that and we got a pretty poor performance out of him. As Ramsay has always said, it’s not how you start, it’s how you finish.
      As far as chefs like Garrett, Sara and Virginia, any other new season they’re on, they wouldn’t even make it to Black Jackets. They’ll definitely last for about only 2-3 episodes being early boots.

      @Commenter839 5 місяців тому +4

      @@rayewaddell9668 I mean yeah the talent in S2 was bad, and Heather was obviously winning no matter what. I just don't think Virginia deserved to make it past 5th regardless. Also Keith was apparently pretty ill/in pain during the pass challenge which could've impacted his performance there, but in any case, it should've been Garrett or Sara there instead of Virginia

      @dominiklis6261 5 місяців тому +4

      @@Commenter839 If Sara would've been remotely likable then she would've been eliminated in the first place. After Ramsay took Virginia's immunity from being in the final three, at the nomination ceremony he gave a choice of either staying in hell's kitchen or leaving, letting Sara, a woman who sabotaged her just because she felt like it and just being a horrible person to be around be in the final three.
      I think that Virginia saying that she doesn't belong in hell's kitchen or something like that, was her attempt to put salt in the injury and basically giving Sara a big "F you", that's why she decided to stay, because if she left her bully would have a chance at being in the final two (she still wouldn't have any chance at winning since Heather was WAY better).

The diference was that the men would be more quiet and backstabing while the women were vocal and confrontatitional. Top 3 biggest mysteries of Hell's Kitchen:
    1. How did Matt get Black Jacket over Louross?
    2. What the hell happened on the casting choices between Season 15 to 17?
    3. WHERE'S THE LAMB SAUCE????

    • @rayewaddell9668
      @rayewaddell9668 5 місяців тому +9

      Well the first one is because Ramsay didn’t start eliminating chefs off the winning team until the next season with Carol(S5) being the first victim to get that treatment so considering that the blue team lost at the final 7, it was down to either Louross or Jen. With Louross declining and because a table walked out on his screw up on the meat station, I say Petrozza made the right call. Even if Louross did get a Black Jacket over Matt, I can see Louross be the first Black Jacket boot at that point considering he was on a downward spiral so 6th place was the furthest he was gonna get.
      Season 15 was another talentless cast and the Black Jacket crew was nothing special. Jared being the only guy there but he was way too inconsistent as time went on to make it to 4th place. Manda was okay but she started spiraling as time went on. The other 3 were just okay but had their own hiccups too. Everyone was on the chopping block this season so yeah. Season 16 was just no. Season 17 All Stars, a few questionable eliminations, Elise being brought back with the same negative energy, the 3 way finale twist that’s still happening in future seasons to this day and Josh being eliminated during service. Seriously an All Star getting ejected from dinner service? Then again Josh was pretty lucky to make it to the top 6 in his original season despite being on a huge downward trajectory and of course he didn’t recover from it.
      To this day, the lamb sauce is still a mystery🤣

    I'm actually surprised that Season 1 did not make this list *or even get an honourable mention,* as its a very 'early installment weirdness' season that divides people on how they feel about it, when you consider the overall amount of talent (considering how most were not actual chefs), the show's editing being all over the place and feeling much more rough around the edges, and even down to its winner (Michael) polarizing on whether he's one of the show's greatest masterminds or ultimately a large manipulator, when you consider his tactics that led to the eliminations of Chris and Elsie respectively.
    I've known people who find the season very fascinating, and I've known others who just think its far too out there to be worth going back to and watching.

      Sabrina Brimhall was a prep chef who had only been working in a kitchen for six months. Her attitude may have sucked and she may not have been the best team player, she did show a lot of potential. She had one of the best signiture dishes of the season and her performances in challenges was pretty good showing that her talent and creativity was better than half of her team's years of experience. She had a bumpy start with services and wasn't much of a team player, but when she learned how to work as a team especially in the last three services on the red team, she learned how to cook good food and work cohesively as part of the team. I think Sabrina was targeted by her team solely for her shitty attitude over her cooking, which was shown when she was nominated for no reason in episode three and I think that might explain why she was pretty hostile to her team, especially towards Melissa, Emily and Trevor.

    I think All-Stars and Season 19 should also be considered. For All-Stars we had redemption arcs for Benjamin, Jennifer, and Nick, as well as getting more of Milly, but on the other hand we had the absolute BS eliminations and more of Elise’s shit. For season 19, we had a strong cast of characters as well as some likable ones such as Cody, Mary Lou, Nikki, and Declan, but we also had some unlikable chefs such as Amber and Marc and two chefs completely throwing in the towel the moment things that got hard, essentially taking two spots away from chefs who could’ve definitely handled the heat

      s17 i agree. im on the end of the stick that absolutely despises it due to petty drama, bad eliminations, and just the overall structure of the season. it was 80% omg watch the chefs argue with each other and 20% cooking wow! It's insane how unbalanced it is.
      s19 i would disagree. I feel like the overall... audience? (idk words sorry) enjoy the season for the positivity, new chefs after 2 "all stars", the dynamics, and the lack of drama. sure it's much more tame compared to say... season 10 which is absolutely wild. i feel there are more positives to take away than negatives. Marc, yes was a hothead, but was passionate and the only source of team drama there was. Amber was a self sabotage and stole Nikki's black jacket. There are also chefs like Jordan who never rlly took accountability for her mistakes, and blamed her downfalls on others.There were also some bs eliminations like Adam over Marc and Sy over Jordan (iirc). BUT overall, i feel there are more positives than negatives to consider it polarizing for the fandom.
      (i still see your argument!)

      @@PartyPickles101 for season 19, my biggest issues were that Elliot and Peter essentially threw in the towel the moment things got hard which kind of pissed me off, because if you don’t think you’re ready to be a head chef and if you can’t handle the pressure, why are you going on Hell’s Kitchen in the first place. Especially when those spots could’ve been given to chefs that actually deserved to be there. And some of the eliminations like Adam, Sy, Josh, and Nikki didn’t help. But I did enjoy others like Cody, Declan and Mary Lou, and I actually found Marc to be entertaining at time. But that’s why I find season 19 to be pretty polarizing

For example in Season One you have Dewberry’s Brad Pitt’s Wife comment and Michael saying “You guys cook like old people fuck” and making Gordon laugh. You speak very fast and it makes you more likely to mispronounce words (I kept hearing 'poralizing' instead of polarizing), as well as blend your words together to the point that I needed to repeat certain parts of the video to hear you correctly. I don't know if anyone else had the same issue, so I won't speak for them. Other than that, I enjoyed the video. 😃

    Season 13-I know this season is disliked for being somewhat boring and forgettable but I think it's overhated. I definitely enjoyed it much more than seasons 9, 11, 15, and 17 mainly due having a much more likeable cast or less one-sidedness.
    Season 16-While this season is disliked I did enjoy watching every toxic person getting eliminated. This blue team definitely sucked but unlike Season 11, I didn't feel sorry for them as they were mostly arrogant jerks and won over half the challenges anyway.
    Season 17-Many looked forward to seeing chefs return but most of them were brought back for drama (especially Elise) with there being many unfair eliminations just to keep the drama going with some like Barbie becoming more villainous or others having a downfall. Although it was also satisfying that chefs like Ben and Robyn (villains in their original seasons) redeemed themselves and became much more likeable as personality goes. Also, there are mixed opinions about the finals with Michelle being the winner as some believe Nick deserved the win. Others believe Michelle deserved it as she was constantly harassed by number 1 villain Elise during the season and therefore her winning was a slap in the face to Elise.

    when it comes to Christinas win in Series 4 being part of the reason that season was polarizing part of that is not only down to how likeable Petrozza was but also the fact that Christina in the Final 4 service burnt Chef Ramsay TWICE and only survived because otherwise the final 2 would have been Corey and Petrozza with Jen in third.
    That final 4 incident basically destroyed the credibility then and there of anyone buying into a Christina win over Petrozza due to how late it had occured if it had occured earlier in the season where someone like Shayna could get booted and Christina would have the rest of the season to rebound and regain credibility as a winner then her win would be less polarizing but the lateness of when it went down did Christina no favours in credibility at all.

    I love season 4. Jason doesnt bother me too much because he's too cartoony to take seriously and he was an early boot. Yeah he's atrocious but he hasn't said anything that some women on the show have said about men but everyone gives sexism a pass when it comes from women. Petroza will forever be the GOAT in my eyes.

    From S10 Red team bully fest i actually really enjoyed Kimmie. I don't know if it's my wrong interpretation, but i saw her as softer, less agressive Robyn. Her biggest outburst was towards Robyn in fact, and i think it was kinda justified.
    Also, i liked her confessionals a lot, and felt bad for her, because she seemed underappreciated by most of her team in some situations. On the other hand, Christina seemed to respect her some and they communicated well with each other.
    Tiffany and Robyn were actual worst IMO, and Kimmie was maybe not the nicest out there, but (again IMO) she don't deserve to be seen as in the same bully league as these two.
    Honestly i wouldn't be mad if she stayed until Black Jackets over Robyn, but she tanked too hard on southern night.

    Sorry, but Season 10 is the most polarizing of all of the seasons of this show in my personal list. Like, there are some moments I enjoyed, while other moments (as well as a certain hasty a-hole female chef in the season) were just boring; boring, on a scale of one to ten, like a nine.

    the season 10 red team is ridiculous honestly, Like it's fun TV to watch but at times it just irks my eyes. We all know about the terrible trio. Dana and Barbie are good but they tend to be somewhat snarky at times, Barbie had that time with the banging and that time of prep with the mussells, and Dana feels like a Secret Villain in S10, she also somewhat feel like a lowdown and there's that possibility of Sabotage during the endgame, I wonder how much backlash would happen if Dana wasn't friends with Christina,

    • @seanswinton6242
      @seanswinton6242 5 місяців тому +1

      I agree with most of what you said. Barbie was treated badly so I understand her retaliation in the dorms with the dishes, the mussels not so much. I totally agree with your assessment of Dana. Dana basically gave the facade of innocence while being passive aggressively underhanded-a backstabbing. She quietly rode the coattails of Christina and used her for cover. Then when given the opportunity, she tried to sabotage Christina. Dana brought the same grudge with Barbie to S17 years later and rode Michelle's coattails constantly nominating Barbie. My biggest disappointment was with Christina who never stood up for Barbie once and they were supposed to be teammates. That symbolized a bad leadership trait for me. Meghan of S14, was way better. Fewer cooking mistakes and showed leadership. She confronted the team for bad performance and told them, like her or not Monique was still apart of the team until she was eliminated. Meghsn gave advice to teammates as well. It was why she was respected. Milly in particular respected Meghan greatly and she returned it. In spite of Milly's lack of experience. That's true leadership.

    The main reason why I hate Season 9 is because of how rigged it is, I usually aren’t too fussed about bad personalities making it far if they’re actually talented or better then the majority of their team like with Season 8, 10 and 16. But Elise making it past the fourth nomination and black jackets is just ridiculous. It is annoying when they keep contestants around for the sake of TV, especially when it screws over really talented, but usually they’ll only be spared once or twice and then after that they’ll be eliminated for good.

      Amanda - ELIMINATED- 11 mistakes in the second service (overloaded, spilled sauce on the stove, caused smoke and mess, raw fish was delayed because it wasn't sealed and cooked in a single pan, times, forgot to cook the fish, without any fight)
      Carrie - 11 mistakes, 3 mistakes in breakfast service, 6 mistakes in the second service (overloaded, she was fighting with Elise, running around like a headless chicken, using the vacuum cleaner with something inside and breaking it, communication,, she thought there was a hamburger in the order, she stood there doing nothing with her hands on her hips, raw lamb on her plate and tried to argue with the chef, overwhelmed again at the meat station)

    I legit cannot watch season 9 at all because of Elise. It's not even polarizing for me; she single-handedly makes it impossible to get through a single episode, and this is one of the very few seasons of the show I would believe was actually scripted if someone tried to convince me of it.
    On the flip-side, I love season 4 despite Jason and Jen.

    Out of curiosity, why do people not like Elise?

    • @ThunderTHR
      @ThunderTHR 5 місяців тому +1

      Elise always had a tendency to start confrontations with her fellow chefs (Carrie and Michelle being her biggest targets) and refused to ever take accountability for her actions, always trying to point the blame to someone else (even once trying to point the blame to Tommy for scoring Wellingtons, despite him saying on camera that he would not be scoring them for her). She also went way further than she should've, Season 9 especially, where most agreed that she was largely kept because she was good for the ratings, despite being a very inconsistent chef in terms of her cooking abilities.
