This pack is truly amazing. Credits to Bad Peanuts for these 16 impressive train stations. My only issue with this is, if we now have the option of Dual island stations and bypass stations, why can we not have quad tracks? 4 tracks or quad tracks would be great and help get rid of traffic along busy train routes. Why can't we have 4 tracks default instead of 2 tracks like we have now. I know Metro Overhaul Mod allows this, but I am speaking for console players and vanilla gameplay.
Okay i have to say that these transport hubs and stations are so f*cking amazing!!?? The designs, the compatibility and the variety of assets... this is insane honestly. Idk if my pc will stan all these or if there's gonna be some bugs, but besides from that: Bad Peanut you're talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show-stopping... thanks for everything 😭😍

Only thing I felt Bad Peanuts was missing for this amazing CC pack was the addition of 4 tracks or quad tracks and maybe 6 tracks for the dual island and bypass stations. I think this would have been a nice addition if it was added. I hate being restricted to only 2 track routes instead of 4 track or 6 tracks.
@@A30892 I am sorry, what? Sunken train stations not realistic? Look at Germany, we've got plenty of them. You can find them in cities like Berlin, Munich, Hamburg, Frankfurt or Stuttgart both big and smaller.
Thanks BadPeanut and thanks Paradox for making all this something official and not only a mod! It was one of my fastest DLC purchases, together with the bridges pack. My only criticism is that the metro plaza could have a glass roof, it kind of bugs me the passengers may be exposed to bad weather in such important hub. And also, have other similar options for other transport, like new hubs including monorail, trams and buses, and an option for sunken heavy railroad.
Cities skylines should definitely make Subway/metro tracks that run above streets like in real cities and take up less space. Kinda like how the monorail tracks that run above streets function but with metro, and it could go over 2,4,6 lane roads.
I like that they have done these packs, particularly as a console player with no mod access. Next how about some parking lots/structures for us on consoles.
I love this pack, as i play on console it's a game changer. My only gripe is i can't have Thomas, Edward, Henry, Gordon, James, Percy, Toby, Duck, Donald, Douglas, Oliver, Daisy, Boco, Deisel , Mavis and the big City Engines. Maybe CS2 will have a Thomas Theme expansion :p
i gotta say i like this DLC. bad peanut seems to have civil engineering down pretty good. using this with other mods makes it even better... train/metro capacity mods are a must.
4:36 I just came back from my first time in Europe. My experience wandering around the Berlin Hauptbahnhof (which I could do for hours if I didn't have an ICE to catch) convinced me to buy this pack.
Having 4 track train lines in vanilla Cities Skylines would be great to fit with these new amazing stations by Bad Peanut. Specifically the Bypass and dual island stations. I think with these new dual island and bypass stations it looks ugly to have it be 2 tracks then 4 tracks then back to 2 tracks. Why not have 4 tracks throughout the entire line.
Really need a traffic and road dlc.with Road leveler, and movable assets once placed better tunnels, better merging roads, smaller roundabouts, 3 Lane roads, no entries and different road surface types .. its painful trying to lay level elevated roads
Worth buying it and used most of the stations. I never use the Glass Box hub as I try to put my rail hub close to the city center and I prefer through stations. I use the rail hub from Mass Transit and Peanut's Modular Through Station.
Badpeanut should clean up with this! It's fantastic! 👏 And kudos to Paradox for working with and allowing content creators to make their own moolah, too! 👍
Although I had a bit of trouble finding where the pack was in my files I can 100% say this pack is definitely worth it if you are a train enthusiast or just want your rail or metro lines to look good in your city.
Unfortunately, none of these happen to solve the big problem I'm having with my metro network, which is that there's just too much demand. On my Blue Line I have 12 trains of 720-pax each, and there are still often up to 2,000 passengers waiting for a train at the busiest stop. It's the full Tokyo madness. It's a lot of fun to watch though. A full -720/+720 transfer is just outrageous. Never seen anything quite like it on UA-cam.

This is so amazing dude, I think next we should get more Roads design, and more design for service buildings, like Police, Fire Department, Hospital, Education etc Pls 🙏 it deserves a final DLC to complete the game with better buildings, more Roads will be the best thing to come!
I wish that Paradox Interactive will add a racetrack dlc and that dlc should have from F1 racetracks to rally ones and it should work like varsity sports or concerts.
The stations are very nice 👍 but unfortunately I find the parking spaces in front of the train stations disgusting ... I've never seen a train station that had so many parking spaces in front of it. A street with space for buses or trams would have been much nicer! If you let a bus drive into the parking lot, it often ends in a disaster.
@@badpeanut Okay, I'm from Germany and in big cities there is no space for parking spaces in front of the train station (now and then over the tracks). I only know that from villages. But there is no "Crossover Rail Hub" :D. This station reminds me of the "Südkreuz Berlin"
I love this, but my bypass station doesn't work, the trains stop short of the platform and block the interchange between lines. I thought that was just how they are, but this video showed the trains pulling up properly and letting others pass through. I'll have to look for shorter trains while I troubleshoot. Good to know it's meant to work, frustrating that I can't make it happen!
The crossover hub and old market are the same but the crossover hub has a lower level that is 45° angle with the high level, while old market has two elevated dual island station side by side

@@chiefkeefgaming2005 yes, most subway stations around the world uses only a minimum ground footprint. Many PC mods have it, but console players also deserves such a "vanilla" feature. For CS2, I expect to build metro just like the Park Life DLC, just putting the entrance downstairs at groundlevel, and customizing the subterranean level to the exact angle and deepness of our lines.

Would it be possible to have stations where each track can be toggled between train and metro? That would make it possible to configure it as needed, and e.g. have metro and trains stop on different sides of the same platform for easier changing.
Started a new cities skylines stream a week ago.... Buys mass transit, European suburbia &piers and bridges....the day after all dlc goes on sale.....tbh I would moan but it's so cheap I have paid like 35 for game and all dlc... Man I love this game! Can't wait to get to the city and get the badpeanut pack! But no point whilst I'm building the countryside still... Come visit Santa Meko if you ever feel like it!
The only complaint I have is the metro stations have black walls when you wanna go along the line in first person view but they are stunning non the less!!!!!!
Don't forget the vanilla game doesn't have rendered tunnels! If there wasn't black tunnel entrances (like the vanilla tunnel networks) then you'd just be looking into the blue void!

Its a terminus for train traffic, like the asset in the pack, but is also having a set of elevated tram platforms going perpendicular to the train tracks, right within the central hall of the station. So yeah I'm pretty sure thats what they're referring to.
This is the best CCP so far, that elevated station with the curved parking lot is so pretty

It helps a lot with rail traffic when you can seperate cargo and passanger lines on to different tracks
BadPeanut did an absolute magnificent job at these stations and I will definitely be using them in all my future cities. Must have pack, honestly.

The Metro [subway] Plaza is the best of this DLC. 5 subway stations into one. Great for larger skyscrapers cities.
Convenient for express lines that doesn't need to stop on the hub: two of the stations have bypass track.

Btw. that's just one of the many, many Design Flaws of the very real Stuttgart 21 Station currently under Construction in Germany.
I really want to see this in CS2. maybe the sunken metro stations can be used with tracks at -10m elevation and not fully underground tracks
