Great video. I have found draining by drain valve is a hassle because it clogs almost instantly and re clogs easily even after running wire up both inlet and outlet. I now use a wet/dry vac to suction out water from boiling chamber. This is fast and and hassle free.

Patrick, Awesome tip! Yeah there is some really dirty water out there and it really can building in the boiling chamber. It's crazy to think that you would have drunk all the junk and filth in your source water that is now in the boiling chamber. I love the peace of mind using a distiller to purify my water. Thanks for sharing! - Brandon

I have an Innowave 360.. but your video is vary helpful. Mine has so much calcium build-up that it might take 8 weeks not 8 hours 😂😂😂

I'm struggling to understand what switches need to be activated to start the distiller. I assume the automatic fill must be off, but should the fan switch also be off? It would be good to add that to the video or make it more explicit in the manual and guide.

I followed your instruction on cleaning the boiler. Once I had cleaned the boiling chamber with Still Clean, a white residue was left along the walls of the boiler. This is very difficult to clean off. What should I do?

If you have white residue or mineral buildup that is thicker than a credit card then clean the boiling chamber again. If you use white distilled vinegar it will polish up the boiling chamber and make it look like new again. But the vinegar will stink up the room where you are cleaning the distiller.

You should drain your Durastill Water Distiller boiling chamber once a month. Then clean the system every 6 months. - thanks Brandon

@@RockyMountainWaterDistillers qualification when you say drain once a month do you mean just drain the dirty chamber and scoop out the junk on the bottom of the chamber then fill it up with water and add durstill sweet and use as normal . Or do you still add the water and durstill clean boil it for heat up water for 30 minutes then boil for another 20 min with the cover off and then sit over night then drain and rinse twice before using again with durstill sweet once a month op. Or do that every six months? Then every six month open up the front and vacuum it and clean the fans you. I am not sure what you mean clean every 6 month? Then chamber or the inside the machine? Looking forward to the clarification?

Hello, I Recently left the Distiller on without the fan on for about 3 hours with the Excelon PVC tubing and Filter attached. If said components get hotter than their rated 120 F do they start releasing toxins? should I replace them?

When you left the distiller on without the fan turned on for 3 hours, did you connect the steamer tube and were you steam cleaning the stainless steel water storage tank? If you ran steam through your post carbon filter then it will ruin the filter. If I were you and worried about it, I would just replace the tubing and get a new "Durastill Post Filter with fittings" (the 2 elbow shaped fittings). - thanks Brandon
