What happened to Brewing TV?
Didn't realize I was still subscribed to an ABI (Budweiser conglomerate that tries to destroy other craft brewers) sellout. There's probably a good reason why Chip Walton and co. quit a few years ago (they're REAL craft beer brewers/enthusiasts/moralists). They could smell the sell-out. Peace NB! Definitely have not bought from you since the buy-out and never will again! (Sad: parts of my first kit were bought from you)
just wondering where you guys went? I would really like if someone would respond to my writing this. Yes, I understand the whole buy out by ZX Ventures. I mean I am not sure WHY ABI decided on the purchase but I understand the selling of the company, brand and etc. etc. Really though I am commenting on this page because it is a curiosity I am trying to feed. First off, I see you turned off the comments on the actual Northern Brewer UA-cam Channel. Secondly, I see that you have not posted a new video in almost TWO YEARS! Is it because you fail to retain personalities like Dawson, Keeler and, Chip Walton? Or is it due to the amount of negativity that has been piling up from homebrewers in the comment sections of the videos? I have a few suggestions for you to bring your subscribers back; First, bring back the adventure and spirit to the videos. Stop pushing product and go back to pushing a mash paddle through some grains! I mean we all started watching this channel because it fulfilled our primal want to brew when we could not. If we can't physically brew we might as well let others do it for us! Secondly, stop pushing products! All the videos since you lost the Great Ones have been just glorified commercials. In fact, the past year or two the have been EXACTLY just commercials. 30 seconds, product placement, just commercials. Sure, in the past the guys have mentioned or demonstrated brewing on NB systems, brewing with NB recipes or, enjoying fruits of their labor out of NB glasses but they worked for you guys and were proud of it. Bring the pride back by toning down the brand dropping. Seriously, you guys still have great customer service and outstanding products. Bring it back to a people friendly company, I am willing to help with that if it means getting in front of a camera and brining a kettle up to strike temp then pouring in some malted grains. Please like I said before, please write back. let me know you still have a soul!
