    Use a dry funnel to get your primer into the bottles: that way it will not clag up on the bottle top...

    I guess my only suggestion is to try some wine before you try the beer then you will have a basic understanding of the fermentation process and have the necessary equipment also..also, start small (1 gallon batches) for when things go wrong your not throwing away 5 gallons of potential wine or beer..

    Like # 346- Great video! About time someone made a new extract video. Always use a bottling bucket after your fermenter It cuts down on all of that trub at the bottom and add your bottling sugar. Make this easy for new people.

    Great video! What I do with LME is pop them in a sink of hot water while steeping or heating up the water. It loosens them up and makes them easier to work with.

    Great Vidya BruSho. I have seven kegs and still like what comes from the bottle more. Just a silly personal preference. The bottling wand on the bottling bucket valve served me well for years, and meant I could bottle 2 cases in 30 minutes. I rinse the bottles after the pour so they only need a good sanitizing for their next use. After a while, it becomes a natural easy process. Cheers.

    As always, great video Trent. This is going to be a really great video I will share with others who are just starting out because its pretty straight forward and to the point.
    Question for you on refractometers: I've noticed the refractometer is always off compared to my hydrometer readings and so I read that refractometers are not always accurate and require some maths to become more accurate. Have you also noticed this? What do you do to calibrate the numbers of a refractometer to match that of a hydrometer? Cheers

    • @TheBruSho
      @TheBruSho  Рік тому

      Hey thanks! And on refractometers, they definitely have some quirks. They need to be calibrated with water first, most refractometers have a little screw on them to adjust. And then when taking readings after fermentation has started you have to use a conversion calc (alcohol throws the refraction off). Just google: refractometer calculator. Then you should get accurate readings!

    You should try some of the Fresh wort kits that some brew stores are providing. It's just pouring it into the fermenter, chuck in the yeast and do whatever dry hoppings afterwards. 10 minute brew day with no cleaning.

    Hi.tnx for video.
    Very useful.
    I have a problem with my beer.
    What I have to do to have a stable foam on the top?
    My beer have a very good foam but fast disappear .
    Sorry about my English 😁

    • @TheBruSho
      @TheBruSho  Рік тому +1

      There’s a bunch of things that impact foam. Using more hops, more protein rich malts, and avoiding foam negative ingredients can help. Look up “foam positive beer ingredients”
