I remember watching this as a little boy on Polish TV in 1990's, in bed, just before going to sleep. Though it is impossible to find this series in DVD now, after all these years I still can remember how ecstatic I was, when Japanese ships finally blew up. I also remember crying all night after the last episode of Operation Rimau. The theme song is currently my wake-up music in my phone. My children like it very much and sometimes ask me to let them listen to the whole melody before getting up.
My most favourite film ever. Watched it when it first came out on TV when I was 12.
That music takes me back to being a little boy
I never forgot that show or the amazing music. I wish I could just hear more of it

Would love to watch these again. Saw it on Swedish television back in the early ninties. Remember it as really good.

Just wonderful. For so many reasons.
Been trying to find a copy of this and Heroes II for literally decades.
In the UK. The war in Europe has so much attention. The war in South East Asia gets almost none. My Grandfather was called up and sent to Borneo. He was ranked Sargeant, and didn't return until late '46. They waited for 10 weeks in Singapore for a boat home. He fought along side the Australian Z Force and the Gurkhas. Forever in absolute debt.

My Grandfather (British Army) fought with the Australian 'Z Force' in Borneo, along side the Gurkhas. I just love to see references. I've got lots of questions for Bill.

My father was one of six survivors from more than two thousand four hundred British and Australian POWs originally held at the camp at Sandakan
At the end of the war he was in hiding in the jungle and close to death in Japanese occupied central North Borneo having survived the Sandakan Death March and escaping from the extermination camp at Ranau and was recovered by Z Force operatives

@@michaelbarker1660 Yes Michael, it is expensive. This is because I don't set the overseas postage costs which take up nearly half of the overseas delivery costs .
It is only going to get worse as the Australian Government has announced yet another review of Austalia Post costs; the recommendation is that they increase the cost of stamps considerably. Hope this explanation helps your understanding of our situation. Depending on the increases, I may be forced to suspend overseas sales altogether.
