    hi . why when i upload the character i can't see the colors of my avatar and i can see only a grey avatar ? somebody can help me ?

      To fix the textures not appearing: Before you export it, click on ‘file’ then ‘external data’ then select ‘unpack resources’ and then finally click on ‘use files in original location (create when necessary)’
      Also make sure to save the file before, and then import the fbx file into mixamo.
      Hope this helps :)

    Thanks a lot for this tutorial. I wasn't sure what Mixamo would do with the armature so I deleted it in Blender.
    Also had same issue as others re: missing textures.
    Am going to try your method now 👍😁

    mine is not going in with the texture from blender to mixamo. ive tried this for 8 hours. What gives. what app do you have to open the file outside of the programs? Tell people blender has to be in version 2.93

    hey for the people that it doesn't work with I gotchu
    1. import the GLB/GLTF file to blender and export as an fbx
    2. upload it to mixamo get the animation you want and download WITH skin(I know it doesn't have textures bare with me)
    3. import it to blender and delete the mixamo skeleton
    4. re-import your glb/gltf file into blender and switch to the animation screen now it should have the animations and the textures.
    edit: ok so the textures work but the arms are all messed up. trying to find a work around

    Mine did not export with the textures after following what you did. Did things change since Feb 2022?

    Thanks for the tutorial, having the same issue as Jose, when exporting to FBX something is happening to the textures/materials. I have settings set to copy with textures on export but it's not working. Any tips would be great!

    I found another solution for the problem where textures are not exported in the fbx from blender, Actually there is no mesh set as the active object , once you Click on any mesh and exported via the above method ie putting path as copy . This resulted the fbx model with textures. Hope it helps.

    It certainly works but did not go well for me.. when i upload my character, it comes up white with no skins. Just like a blank model, whats wrong? Please help.

      Something has changed with Ready Player Me or how Blender handles GLB files. You have to manually export the textures from Blender now. It's annoying. Try this: ua-cam.com/video/KbTbEiUJwBo/v-deo.html
