New subscriber! Enjoyed your video. Lots of great ideas. I took notes! ▫️You can freeze nuts to keep them from going rancid. Put some out in a dish for the kids to snack on. ▫️I want some of the containers you use to store pasta to store dried beans and pasta. ▫️Since 2014 - I’ve kept my wardrobe small so I’ll wear it all. Every year - i declutter and update my inventory I’ve decided how much is enough of each category and stay fairly close to those numbers. Socks, underwear, bras, tops, bottoms, jackets, sweaters, coats, hats, scarves, gloves, belts, shoes, purses, totes. My total this year is: 115 for everything in my wardrobe except jewelry. I live in SE TX so there’s no need for a winter wardrobe. Every year - I replace worn or unloved items. ▫️We’ve decided how much is enough for many categories. Towels, sheets, blankets, dishes, personal care items, office supplies, etc. Helps to curb impulse buys.
So happy you moved the jars down and the cans up on to the shelf. The bowed shelf made me have visions of glass jars going flying. Looks way more safe on the wooden shelf than a bowed shelf. I’d rather a can fall than a glass jar.
When my kids were younger, they loved cereal, but (1) portion control was a hard concept, and (2) we basically couldn't afford cereal on a regular basis. So when we had cereal, I put it in snack bags (one serving each) and put the individual bags back into the cereal box. Kids knew how many mini-bags they had each and could choose whether they wanted them for breakfast, lunch, or a snack. Worked!
Ali, I am so glad I stumbled across your UA-cam channel. I love you honestly, especially about feeling like you lost yourself for a little while after having kids. I have 4 of my own. They are older now so I'm able to work on organizing, decluttering, and cleaning. I think you're amazing.
Hey Ali! Hopefully you are feeling better...Thank you very much for being real and sweet. Real sweet!❤ I thoroughly appreciate you and enjoy your content!!!
I make pinto beans in my slow cooker, I didn’t like the taste when I did the insta pot method. I just put the beans in the slow cooker dry (no pre soaking) on high for 5 hours, they are great. I love how you don’t throw out stuff if it’s past the best by date. You validate my opinion. Such motivation to go do mine.

Food is still edible if it is past the best by date (especially dry & can goods). Try to meal plan around the items that are past the best buy dates to use it up 😊.
A whole house clean-up marathon? 🧹✨ Sounds like the ultimate motivation to tackle those cluttered corners! I’ll be tuning in to get my organizing game on-wish me luck! 😅💪

Always take food, especially snacks you don't want, to work. Leave them in the staff lounge and watch them disappear in seconds. Nice videos.
