Why would there be. There rarely is footstep sounds in 2d platformers, it would get annoying after a while. Even in 3d platformers there's only footstep sounds on certain types of ground.
The combat and movement look decent. The art style is nice, if a bit random. I like that it is hard drawn instead of pixel art. But good grief, that writing! I assume this was translated from another language. The translation is extremely bad. And that extends to the game's tile. Decline's Drops? I get the main character's name is Decline, but why Drops? I assume that means something in the original language but it is nonsensical in English. Anyway, there you go.
