I have to say I love that the Mage’s Guild is the number one enemy of other major organizations that do magic. Like they hate the Worm Cult because of necromancy and general evilness, they hate the College of Winterhold because they got in their way like one time, and they hate House Telvanni because the Telvanni are just built different and they causally do necromancy. Like imagine hating a rival academic group as much as the crazy guy in a volcano who’s spreading the plague. The Mage’s Guild is getting close to being the number one haters though they still fall short because their competition is House Telvanni

Depending on who you ask, the Dragon Priests, along with the Ayleid liches of Cyrodiil, shouldn’t be considered *true* Liches… or at the very least, a different category of Lich. Some propose the idea of an “undead” lich being transformed purely through necrocracy and are simply powerful corpses, animated by dark magic. While on the other hand there’s the concept of an “undying”: Individuals, such as Mannimarco, who find more… clean; desirable methods in obtaining Lichdom rather than simply dying. Once the individual has achieved Lichdom, they still possess their normal appearance, physique, speech, physical combat skills, essentially any traits a typical Man, Mer, or Beastfolk would have. Again, this really depends on who you ask.
Talos the God might be out of the question, but Tiber Septim the man could qualify. If we count gods then we have to talk about the necromancer moon and the ideal masters. Neither of whom even have physical bodies

To bargain with the Ideal Masters, 100 Dragon Souls in exchange for Undoing the damage that the Cairn has done to Durnehviir, and then freeing him permanently, without him worrying about vanishing. Imagine if we could see Durnehviir as he was prior to his enslavement, how glorious must he have looked in his glory days...

Mannimarco not only being the best necromancer, but one of the best villains if not THE best, due to him really being one of the few in the series that outright Win.
Worth a mention is Grurn, the lich from Morrowind's Siege at Firemoth plugin. Guy marched out of the Sea with a horde of skeletons, overpowered an Imperial Garrison and took an Imperial Fort on an Island. He may have next to no lore, but the few people who played that plugin will always remember the absurd amount of skeletons you have to might through for him to demolish you in his arena
Even OC Dragonborn Necromancer's can't beat it. There is not enough to do in Skyrim to really scale up to Mannimarco's achievements that even modding will fall short.
As I recall a Zombie was about the least dangerous undead on the path to his throne room in Daggerfall. In the throne room were ancient liches and ancient vampires.
My Necromancer Vestige was a priest of Azura and when I met Vastari I headcanoned that she was the daft Imperial's mentor when they were first learning how to live outside the Worm Cult. She's a goddamn badass.

Honestly, I think the protagonists wouldn't even make the cut if they were allowed. The Nerevarine can't learn necromancy spells at all, the Champion of Cyrodiil can only do it through the staff of worms and the Dragonborn, at best, can Death Thrall *one* powerful individual that's still weaker than him. I don't know if there was necromancy in Daggerfall though, so no idea about the Agent.
I think it's possible, that the title of "First Necromancer" doesn't refer to Mannimarco being the literally first necromancer ever, but to him being the greatest necromancer ever. Ya know, kinda like how the wife of the President is called the First Lady. That doesn't mean, that she is either the first wife of the President, nor that she is the first spouse of the President (as in, her husband would be the first one to hold the Office of President and being married), but that she is at the very top of the hierarchy. Maybe not the best example, but the only one I could think of.

The Greybeards tell you as much. they haven't had a genuine Dragonborn since Tiber. 3.) Even if she was "Dovahkiin-dragonborn" like the tes5 player character she still wouldn't be able to shout without 1st recognising a word of power and acquiring knowledge of how to project it by absorbing the knowledge from someone or something that does. And since there were no dragons in her era that would be really unlikely

Wait a minute no Undead Dragons? What about the Bone Dragon in Labyrinthian that's a undead Dragon if I've ever seen one it doesn't have a Dragon soul in it as in it doesn't drop one at any point in the game, its made of bones has frost breath and has the same damage weaknesses as any other undead enemy in Skyrim. Dragons can 100% be raised from the dead in Elder Scrolls as Undead. Are we going to be leaving Morokei and the Dragon Priests off the list? I guess Liches don't count. That said great video apart from that lore error, Zombie Dragons are out of the question but Bone Dragons do 100% count as Undead Dragons end of story heck you could argue Durnehviir is an undead dragon by the simple fact that he can be killed but comes back from the dead the definition of undead really a Dragon Lich because Liches can't die permenantly unless you destroy their phylactory unfortunately his phylactory is the Wise Masters and you can't destroy them so he's trapped as a Lich that said I'd say he would able to destroy Potema one on one, sure he'd return to the Soul Cairn but it really only takes a few seconds for the Dragon to kill a human usually..

That said great video apart from that lore error, Zombie Dragons are out of the question but Bone Dragons do 100% count as Undead Dragons end of story heck you could argue Durnehviir is an undead dragon by the simple fact that he can be killed but comes back from the dead the definition of undead really a Dragon Lich because Liches can't die permenantly unless you destroy their phylactory unfortunately his phylactory is the Wise Masters and you can't destroy them so he's trapped as a Lich that said I'd say he would able to destroy Potema one on one, sure he'd return to the Soul Cairn but it really only takes a few seconds for the Dragon to kill a human usually..
