- Hey guys, its Memorial Day weekend! I thought I would try this since I finished 3 shows last week. Here is how its gonna work. I picked 5 shows that I am going to react to the first episodes of. ADVENTURE TIME is the first of the 5! At the end of next week which ever one has the highest view count will be the new show I am reacting to on Thursday. Welp, I guess it’s time to see what the buzz was with Adventure Time for real.
I understood it and now I forgot it all, now I’m researching it with others to help flow in the memories
I mean it starts off very silly and wacky with a sprinkle of dark humor. In later seasons it has very dark themes and sad moments. It gets very angsty and philosophical, too. I'd say it's more for people with an open mind.
Follows the logic of as shows get older, so do the kids/teens who watch them, and so must the themes.
I still remember all of Simon/ice kings backstory
The episodes were aired by pairs, so when the first of each pair ends immediately the second one starts, and then, when the second end is when the credits roll. But yeah, a lot of episodes have an abrupt ending, with a bizarre or funny scene, its like a signature of this series.
You'd THINK it was adult but its marketed towards children
when i was a child a watched it and i really liked the show!
My sister loves it and she's 8. It's a really good show for kids around 8+
My father forbid me to watch it when I was little, I used to secretly watch it after coming back from school when he was at work lmao

As someone already commented, the end credits (the catchy little diddy it is) happen after the next episode because they're two parters. If you missed the opening sequence though, it's a fun and fast look at the world you're dealing with. I'll put in a link to it below.

I don't feel like this was the first episode
It was the first _aired_ episode, but not the first _produced_ episode. Imo its better to go by production order rather than the order they aired. Usually when I watch or rewatch shows (for example I just rewatched iCarly and Victorious), I look up the episodes on wiki, copy them to an excel file, then sort them by production order. Netflix usually has shows in production order, but not always.

I hated adventure time for the longest while. Until recently I decided that I was bored and I would give it a shot, the first season we pretty bad but after that it got pretty okay, I started to find myself looking for reactions to the show and I decided that its actually pretty alright. I wouldnt put it past a few other cartoons but regardless it's still pretty good.
