They lost Harden, Irving , and Durant for picks and medium level talent. The Nets could have been great if they gave Irving a contract last year, brought in a strong Coach like Mark Jackson. All 3 guys would be there because Hardin left when he seen them playing with Irving's money
The "We dont need a coach" comment was a joke
I’m glad someone calling out the nets front office
Joke Tsai incompetent owner !! Lol
The Jazz got more for Gobert than what the Nets got for KD
Yall dumb. Nets could easily get 1 or 2 more 1st round picks if they decided to trade bridges
@@cyber2cyke it makes 0 sense.
@@williammatthews8684 Jazz got 5 players and 5 picks(4 first round and a pick swap). While the Nets got solid players and 4 picks back, it's not up to par with what the Jazz got for Rudy. If I was the Nets GM, I would have asked for CP3 Mikal Jae and/or Cam plus 5 picks(given that those picks are more likely late first rounders)
Nick back in studio with Colin time to prove him wrong again 🤣🤣🤣
Sometimes he does, sometimes Nick is more full of 💩 than Cowherd.
He loves sparring with Colin 😆 🤣
@@HoopmanX wait another one 🤣🤣🤣
Love how Nick failed to mention Jordans threepeat between the ages of 30 and 34.
ok....
kd is closer to Kobe than Mike I guess?
kd is closer to Kobe than Mike I guess?
Jordan also had a coach who nearly had 2 three peats without him
and u fail to understand how much of a idiot durant is
These two are magic together.
The coach factor is understated. Monty is the glue that could make it all work out. His role as the coach is huge
The nets have a lot of players they can build from. They’ll see what fits while also acting young players and they’ll have a really good team in 2 years. I’m gonna miss Bridges and Cam Johnson though 😢
Who Ben Simmons? 😂🤡
They don't be a championship contending team.
99% of the time in the NBA teams are useless without one or two STARS. They may have success and make the playoffs but they aren't winning a title without a star player which don't exactly grow on trees. Like Wright said you don't give up Durant unless you get a big draft pick or a star player of a similar caliber.
@@trevorburton3290 KD is 34 years old. How many years does he have in his career?
And the Nets got players that don't get injured and 4 freaking first round picks. What!
Nets win big on the long run. Suns have super players that are perpetually injured.
@@ofilispeaksthose won’t be early picks 7/10
I’m really proud of Colin for talking about basketball for 5 minutes without bringing up Aaron Rodgers. Now talking about basketball for 6 minutes without bringing up Aaron Rodgers? That’s a little too much to ask of him lol
Lol
To top it off he didn’t bring up Baker Mayfield or Tim Tebow! Lol!
Durant needs a big brother type player to play with him. The player must be a veteran, a starter and also talented. I think CP3 is the closest to that so far. It will be a beautiful harmony, both will motivate each other. One needs to win and prove he his the best in the league and the other will give a last push and empty the tank to win his first championship. One thing for sure it that it will be a fun team to watch.
Agree
he is 34 he doesn’t need a big brother
Cp3 isn't known to motivate his teammates. Also, Curry is the closest to it and maybe Draymond is the 2nd. You know how Matt Barnes said that Cp3 even gets under his teammates skin
@@renzredona4543 I did not know that
@@renzredona4543 if KD reacts to twitter comments imagine how he’s going to react to CP3’s lol. Just another draymond situation imo

The set is beautiful, great segment
The Nets finally made the right decision to build around Ben Simmons lmao
Ben Who ?
😂😂😂😂
Simmons is the highest paid 3ppg player in history
Ben has his own team now 🤣 funniest thing I've ever heard
Simmons should be a great fit with the Globetrotters.
I wasn't a fan of bringing J Mac on full time, but he's actually really good... he fits great with Colin. I like him alot now

Nick in studio before the SB… W 🔥🔥🔥
Recently I did suggest to a number of commentators: "I thought that if Kyrie Irving was actually traded, then eventually Kevin Durant too would hit the 'reset' button". Yet, instead of both of them going to either the Lakers, Clippers or Knicks; instead to me as well, they both did the unexpected: Mavs & Suns.
What was Brooklyn doing??? You have to take both those Laker picks for kyrie. I dont know what’s more of an asset the Dallas pick or Dinwiddie and Finney smith. Lakers picks 6 years from now would be GOLDEN
Lakers never offered 2 picks for Kyrie
@@BabyKobeeee pretty sure they did just with some protection
Nick Wrong is a cold take machine
predicted SF being great no matter their QB, predicted chiefs to get to the SB, predicted Mahomes to get better without tyreek, predicted the Nets and Bills implosions, predicted Russell Wilson to be as bad as he has been, predicted the Jokic MVP case this year, predicted Doncic dicking the 1 seed 64 win suns out of the playoffs last year all by himself
I'd say he's on a pretty hot streak of low-odds takes that still somehow hit, actually
The Nets saved $100mil in luxury tax penalties. And they are now the best defensive team in the league with a lot picks and young talent. They have options moving forward
Nick spitting facts
Let’s go, Nick!!! I don’t agree with all your take’s but Black n Mild Nick is pure gold😂🐐🐐🐐
Mikals contract compared to his friendly contact is what made him a great pick up
Pat Bev was like the gang back together
Love Nick!
They’re really good together!😂
Spot on with Nets trade with Kyrie was to build around KD but turn around and trade KD....
I think the plan was to build with KD.....I think KD went to them and said get me outta here.
Lol I love nick 99% of the time but as an eagles fan, I can’t wait to see him get humbled 😂
Every one wants to watch the Eagles fans get humble. Probably worst people in sports.
@@JCic22 exactly. Idk why everybody says cowboys fans are the worst. Eagles fans 10x worse in my opinion
bengals fans had the same energy
Nah eagls fans need to be humbled
No dog in the fight other than wanting the Eagle fans crying Sunday night.
Just wanted to add... Why does everyone discredit the Eagles defense? 70 sacks in the regular season!!! Mahomes hasn't faced a defense like this all season!!!
And the Eagles never faced a quarterback like Mahomes.
@@wolfpack6650 that gets talked about, but my point is the Eagles defense is dismissed because "welp its Mahomes and hes the goat now so they have no chance" has been an awful take
@@stevejay1337 I am not saying the Eagles does not have a chance mostly the media has picked the Eagles. There is no way the Chiefs are not dismissing that Eagles defense. The Chiefs have their work cut out for them but all I am saying is that do underestimate the Chiefs offensive line.
Cam thomas looks like he might be in the hof one day. Stud.
Nick already readying the pitchforks for KD if the Suns don't win the chip 😄
His take is stupid as if Giannis or a Luka could take Claxton, Curry, Cam Thomas, Edmon Summer and Dinwiddie to the finals.
Luka had Curry Dinwiddie Finnie-Smith and Porzingis and couldnt make the finals and he keeps saying Luka is better than KD.
@@bigpoppa6658 agreed. I like Nick but his disdain for Lebron's rivals is so obvious. Shannon too

These Nets failures should be put squarely on the shoulders of their 3 former superstars
"It was the most embarrassing 3 year attempt to be great..." - Imagine the smart guys who signed up for Nets season tickets, like Nick Wright!!
Nik has said from the go that this wasn’t going to work in Brooklyn. And he’s rich so why not get the tickets to still see KD Kyrie and at the time Harden? But he called it not working in Brooklyn

Nick actually just got me kinda hyped for KC to beat Philly. "Nick Siriani can mean mug the camera, Philly till he dies, all that stuff. Give me a break!"
He’s hyping himself up lol. Take a breath and look at the matchups. Eagles dominate almost every matchup.

Pure ecstasy would be my guess lolol
@@levilevi9621 nah the excuses will be legendary
I can already hear his high pitch voice when he's frustrated
As a lifelong Chiefs fan Nick is the homer I wish I could convince myself to be. I can never get cocky like that because of the years prior to Mahomes and being a perennial one and done team. Before Mahomes the Chiefs had won two playoff games in my living lifetime. The first being the Montana run in 1994 (I was less than a month old) and the second being their WC game win against the Texans in 2015. Because of all of those seasons of choking the playoff games away (thinking of the 2013 WC loss to Indy and 2017 WC loss to the Titans specifically) I just have no ability to be bold or confident in bragging up the team.
That being said I always feel that as long as we have Mahomes we always have a chance to win the game. I may never feel confident that we will win a game but thanks to Mahomes I do always feel like we have a chance. But while I know a lot of what Nick does is exaggerated for his TV persona I think overlooking this eagles team is a mistake.
I’ve been hesitant on how I feel about the eagles all year largely because of the schedule they’ve played. Sure there are no guarantees in the NFL and you can lose any given week but it’s been hard to fully look past their schedule when evaluating just how good they really are. It’s largely why I was so disappointed for the fiasco that hit the Niners in the NFC Title game. That game was one where it really felt like this eagles squad was getting a true test and a hard matchup that they’d have to elevate their play to win. Sadly the injury bus that hit the Niners allowed for the eagles to play subpar and win running away.
All of that being said I think you discount their legitimacy because of their schedule at your own peril. One game this season that really forced me to do a double take and stop brushing them aside was the titans game. Sure the Titans weren’t a great team this year especially on offense. But that game stood out to me because as a Chiefs fan I watched the Titans really make the Chiefs struggle on offense all game and if they’d had Tannehill in they probably win that game. Their defense forced the Chiefs to grind it out to the very end to win that game. So when I saw the Eagles absolutely torch them on offense not too long after it really stood out for me. They just scored at will which says to me that they can’t be dismissed. I’m not confident in winning this game but as I normally say with Mahomes we have a chance. If we can’t pull it out I at least hope that we get to see a nice back and forth game on offense. Exciting to have the leagues top two offenses facing each other.
Touch grass bro this is UA-cam and u took that long to comment a novel? -chiefs fan
KD don't have to lead he can simply ball out. Perfect
He has been leading , but not successful
He led on gs I don’t like how people say he didn’t they gave him the ball for a reason is that not leading them?
Best player on the court doesn’t make him the leader. Draymond was much more of a leader
@@curtiszyr KD has never led, what are you talking about?!
@@treso414 nah he just played great basketball. They were 73-9 without him, they didn't need a leader.
He thrived cause no one could guard him because if they dbl teamed him curry or Thompson was gonna drain wide open shots all night.
Nick wright has amazing hair
Nick is right. and how the Lakers FO get so much heat for their performance when FO's all over the league are mismanaging and losing all stars is astonishing. Not sure what Tsai is doing, no heat for Marks?
collin and nick are the funniest things ever
Word, he's correct with Ingram!! That makes sense if they got Ingram
It's SO GOOD seeing these 2 together!!! Fox is on FIRE
Superbowl week and you talk for 8 minutes about Basketball lol
This is already a cold take, nets look like they will be more than fine.
The Nets must be breathing sighs of relief now that the got rid of those two turkey fools (Durant and Irving).
I dont hate what the nets have leftover just thought theyd have something better.
The Nets also worked with KD. He told them he wanted to go to Phoenix. Kevin came to Brooklyn to help the Nets win and Kyrie destroyed it all. The Nets and KD have mutual respect
We should give this team some time together before calling them title favorites THIS season. Only a month to play together before playoffs. There are some great teams NBA who have amazing chemistry (Nuggets, Bucks, Celtics, even LA has a title with their best players)
Chemistry matters and idk if they’ll have the time to build that for this playoff run. Let alone a starting line up full of injury prone players. If they accomplish nothing next season, it’s a massive fail, but let’s look at this as a multi year all in move. Not a “title or bust” move for ONLY this season
Imagine if Ben Simmons all of a sudden start playing like an all star on the nets 😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂😭
Yeah great dream 💭
7:00 nick wright nail it with that point
That must have been the week Colin said all 4 teams in the AFC west could possibly make the playoffs.
Stop letting Nick Wright talk basketball, football, actually sports in general
Nick needed to vent and throw a tantrum about KD going to the Suns. He went on Colin show before his own 🤣🤣🤣
Of course he always want to forget about the Heat! Coach Spo is top 3 coach in the NBA right now
fading Bridges is shocking by these “experts”
In fairness...Nets had Kenny Atkinsson as the coach...Durant and Kyrie had him run out to hire Nash. That was the Nets deferring to the wishes of their stars
Nick wright be looking like Asmongold now💀
NBA takes the spotlight over NFL during Super Bowl Week 🏀
I feel like Nick forgets what Cam Thomas has done in the past week. Nets probably believe they have something in him.
7:40 I'm so happy this clip exists so I can come back on February 13th after the Eagles win by 13 and lead for basically the entire game.
And say how crazy everyone was for thinking the guy who won MVP is someone so much better than the guy who came in second in MVP voting that he'll carry his entire team to a big win. Despite being worse in pretty much literally every position.
FYI, last time people said this, they lost by 22... as 3.5 point favourites.
Fly Eagles Fly.
Eagles are the favorites tho…
Kevin Durant couldn't win with these players in their primes..Russ Westbrook, James Harden, Kyrie Irving, Ben Simmons...So he's gonna win it all with Booker and over the hill Paul?
While a coach is important, you need strong leadership and character with your players. MJ held guys accountable, Shaq (while not a hard worker like Kobe) held guys accountable, Kevin Garnett was fire for those Boston teams, etc. I don't see clear leadership and strong character from Harden and Irving for sure, and you could argue Durant is not a leader.
Nets should fire EVERYONE in their front office starting with the GM fans don’t deserve this level of idiocy
Um from what people are saying one of the main problems is Joe Tsai who owns the team, so…..
If the suns don’t take it all this year I give them one more year before I say it’s over lol but kd book and cp3 is just wild to me!
Black n mild is crazy😭💀
Totally agree with Nick here. The Nets should have taken the Lakers offer. I tend to believe the rumors that the Nets didn't go with Lakers offer simply out of spite against Kyrie and if that's true it's just a bad way to go about business doing something out of spite rather than what's best for your ball club.
the Mavs deal was clearly the better deal
that's pretty much what pop did sending kawhi to toronto 😆
U think they want Russell Westbrook & Ben Simmons playing together u gotta really think from the nets perspective & not your laker brain
@@treso414 exactly. Nets want young players with upside and lots of draft capital. Westbrook serves zero purpose in Brooklyn
KD will face Kyrie time to see who comes out on top when they face each other .

".... glad he got out of THERE" by Kyrie Irvin (on KD to SUNS deal) - NBA Quote of the week😎
they way nicks hair is flowing in the wind….. woooow
Mikal Bridges is no slouch.
Nick overlooking the Eagles is funny. He did the same thing in 2018, when will he learn... Cockiness is not a virtue
I think the Nets just decided they wanted to move on from their bad double-decision, at almost any cost. They're probably ready for just another day at the office, after the KD and Kyrie show.
damn that is a good guest! Nick you rock!
Aaron Rodgers lives in this dudes head rent free, even talking basketball he brings him up
Colin is obsessed with Aaron Rodgers
Nick is great love his enthusiasm 👏
He has awful basketball knowledge
Healthy the Cheif’s have ever been but Mahomes is legit hurt and was almost a lil worried if he’d play or not some ppl talk the good talk
If the Nets can just lose every game going forward from this point on….they will be in the Wembanyama sweepstakes.
Nets made the change in terms of age. The basically switched from aged players to younger players with plenty of talent and upward mobility. It was a good move as there are no perfect moves. Nick lives in a fantasy world.
Lol no point in asking Nick his super bowl pick for the next 5 years
Nick is the best dressed bad dresser in the game. Napoleon Dynamite ish
He's usually right? ask him about all of his NBA playoff predictions last season...
KD back to the warriors. Win 3 more and call it a day
nick saying nets don't know what they are doing coz they didn't do trade with the lakers lol
We’ve seen mahomes struggle with a four man pass rush and it just so happens the eagles have the best pass rush in the last couple of years. I think kc is in for a huge shock if they believe what nick believes
All you hear them say is Andy this Andy that, Mahomes Mahomes Mahomes, maybe once or twice one of them mentions Kelce. Three people supposedly are to win them a SB lol. Eagles aren’t just a stacked team but physically dominant. Those injuries on the 49ers weren’t a fluke. That was 100% the Eagles taking off the gloves
Pelicans would never give up BI for 34 year old Durant plus more first round lol. Dudes high😂
Lol Booker locked up for a long time
NJ did great with the KD trade. The Trade of Kyrie was bad.
Usually right? I feel like sports personalities say whatever they want and no one keeps score. But I guess it sounds good if you think he’s usually right.
LeBron is older than cp3 but he's very old lmao 😂
KD wanted to go to Phoenix. It was a favor. Kyrie wanted to go to LA. Nets sent him to the last place he wanted to go.
I would love to be a fly in Nick Wright's living room if the Eagles start curb-stomping the Chiefs on Sunday.
