The only great thing about this version is the extra footage. The prolonged intro didn't make sense it was all cut up. MJ still the greatest ever though!! 👑💯🔥🖤💞
Hopefully the estate can release more alternate music videos versions on MJ UA-cam channel for anniversary’s💯 I like seeing very rare unseen alternate versions of music videos that no one hasn’t seen yet it’s just amazing to see all of this🎥🎶🎤🕺🏽.

The looped intro is the only difference I can hear. What did they use to create that? The credits include a synclavier, and I'm guessing that's what they used, because, other than the bass during the verses, that's the only thing that sounds like a synth.
What's interesting hes the king of r&b and he could easily dived into more genres especially rock and created the greatest rock album in history he was touching the surface only but damn he made everything he's own no one is doing this today
This version was so much more grittier, more 80s grudge rock vibe visually. I kinda wish he incorporated both of these concepts.
I also love how with this version you get a few more camera shots of the rest of the band
