My daughter, now eight years old, discovered and fell in love with Michael Jackson when she was around three years old. Pure, innocent fascination she had with this man and his music. Michael was able to do that to young and old alike. An enigma. RIP
The same happened to me. I was born in 91 and my parents listened to Michael Jackson a lot and watched his videoclips on TV. I would watch too and got fascinated by his dance moves. My parents even used the Black or White vídeo to explain racism to me, when I was 3. I had a little black buddy in my kindergarden and it was the first time I'd seen a person of color, so I was a little frightened. He was the only one there and on top of it he was a bully and would hurt me. My parents showed me the vídeoclip and said: "You see Michael? He is dancing with many different people, with different skincolours. Your friend comes from a place where people have this color." I got less frightened and the next day my dad talked him into being my friend and he stop being so mean. He then kissed me in the ear to make peace (too proud to kiss on the cheek😆) and became my protector in kindergarden 😆I'm almost 30 and still adore Michael Jackson!
Absolutely!! This was his best era by far.. Great music and it was before he went off the deep end of the plastic surgeries.. we were lucky enough to live in his lifetime. there will never be anything else like him ever again
My parents and grandparents loved Michael. When my brother and I were kids, and J5 were hot, and MJ was literally one of a few children that was an entertainer and on TV. We begged our parents to be able to stay up and watch the VARIETY SHOWS AND talk shows, and even when he sang Ben at the Oscars. Then exciting thing after exciting thing (like Thriller, for one). He was amazing!
We had HIM and we did not value him good enough, now behind his back they are trying to destroy all he built. The sun can not be covered . He will shine for ever.

One of the things that made Michael Jackson so special is that he was a musical genius, his ability to bridge multiple genres of music together such as R&B, hip-hop pop country rock ‘n’ roll, and even punk rock and Bridge them into a sound like no one had ever heard before was absolutely revolutionary. There will never be another artist like him ever again.
Lol definitely not all of them, not even close. Extremely talented, but let's be honest Metal, screamo, country, classical, bubblegum pop, all variety of ethnic genre, literally an exhausting list
@@DreamBelief let's put it this way as someone who loves country and is obsessed with it michael didn't have to voice to pull off a country song. Michael could have pulled many different sub genres but not country
When I say underrated, personally, I mean that there are people who tend to only listen to or focus on his most talked about songs like Thriller. They don’t take the time to listen to his songs that are not as popularized in this era. This song’s musical composition is genius! He literally makes his voice blend into the guitar to mimic the guitar’s sounds. It would be nice if he got the recognition for this song like he does for Thriller.
@@terenagooslin3236 exactly this! A lot of people just focus on the smash hits and ‘popular ones’ :) but yes I get what she means, no MJ song is really ‘underrated’ as such :) ❤️

Totally agree with you. It’s magic cause his fans are from different ages, generations, styles... We haven’t a specific appearance, state of mind or music style. That’s why Iove this fandom. #United 🙌
I remember seeing a clip were MJ was talking to Princess Diana and since Princess Diana was going to be at his concert she asked if he was performing "Dirty Diana" and he said No because he wanted to respect her and she was like "aww no thats my favorite song" Edit: Guys I know the song wasn't meant for Princess Diana and for the ppl saying it was meant for Diana Ross u are also incorrect. The song was about a groupie. "I wrote a song called 'Dirty Diana.' It was not about Lady Diana. It was about a certain kind of girls that hang around concerts or clubs, you know, they call them groupies. I've lived with that all my life. These girls... they do everything with the band, you know, everything you could imagine." -Michael Jackson

There will never be another king of pop, prince of pop, or any other title with the word pop in it. Michael owns them all. He will forever be the man that turned music into magic. From videos to fashion to his ground breaking performances, everyone can learn from Michael about dedicating your life to something and constantly striving to be great. Thank you Michael for showing the world what greatness looks like.
The way MJ could seamlessly merge R&B into Rock without it even seeming like a stark contrast to his style was unbelievable, there will never be another artist like him.
I completely agree! I think the closest person we’ll ever get to him is The Weeknd, if you’re an MJ fan I’d highly recommend listening to The Weeknds early work like Trilogy and Kissland, on his song Adaption he sounds just like MJ!
What's even more ironic is that Dirty Diana gets out of the car from the right side, which is the drivers seat in Britain. Some have claimed it is about Diana Ross, but I'm definitely thinking then-Dirty Princess Diana.
LOL dudes The corona virus is as FRAUD dont listen to authorities . Only idiots stay home and do what they TOLD are you animals??? Dont you have your own mind for gods sake!! PS MJ is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;3 And always will be !!!
In 1988, Diana and Prince Charles attended the London concert of Jackson’s Bad World Tour. As a result, Jackson wanted to be as respectful as possible, taking the song “Dirty Diana” out of the setlist as a result. However, when the two met prior to the show, she convinced him otherwise. “I took it out of the show in honor of Her Royal Highness,” Jackson said during a 1997 interview with Barbara Walters, sharing that Diana asked him during the meet-and-greet before the show, “Are you going to do Dirty Diana?” “I said, ‘No, I took it out of the show because of you,’” Jackson continued. “She said, ‘No! I want you to do it. Do it. Do the song.’”
I agree. People want to think he was angel and he was not. I hope those men get compensated for what they deserve. But I won’t discount his performance on stage.

@Raim M. facts
My daughter, now eight years old, discovered and fell in love with Michael Jackson when she was around three years old. Pure, innocent fascination she had with this man and his music. Michael was able to do that to young and old alike. An enigma. RIP
Awe im soooo happy to read this. I fell in love when i was a baby too🧡🧡 awe bless her
That baby girl's got good taste. Rock on girl!
Totally the same with me, i've liked michael jackson since i was 4 years old. Now i'm 16 and I still like him very much
I fell in love with him as a baby too 🥺🥺
i once saw an interview, when he was about 6 years old. He said, he wanted to be the greatest entertainer on earth. in my opinion he got the goal!
he definitely got that title
It's not opinion it's fact
In all the modern historians' opinion, he got the goal. OK?
Now I’m just crying this is so cute,he met the goal

There's nothing better than Michael Jackson's Rock period.

❤L'icona eterna di Michael Jackson e tutte le generazioni future lo conosceranno.❤❤❤❤

Yes. This is the ONE concert I wish I had gone to. I'm sick I missed it forever.
He touched every genre of music and kicked its ass

One of his most underrated songs, so many people will just say Billie Jean, or Thriller, but this is right up there with his best work.
Came to say this exact same thing! Couldn’t agree more
Can't really say it's underrated since it went to #1 for him
When I say underrated, personally, I mean that there are people who tend to only listen to or focus on his most talked about songs like Thriller.
A lot of people just focus on the smash hits and ‘popular ones’ :) but yes I get what she means, no MJ song is really ‘underrated’ as such :) ❤️
For me the best song is "Beat it" partly because of Van Halen solo

In 1988, Diana and Prince Charles attended the London concert of Jackson’s Bad World Tour. As a result, Jackson wanted to be as respectful as possible, taking the song “Dirty Diana” out of the setlist as a result. However, when the two met prior to the show, she convinced him otherwise.
“I took it out of the show in honor of Her Royal Highness,” Jackson said during a 1997 interview with Barbara Walters, sharing that Diana asked him during the meet-and-greet before the show, “Are you going to do Dirty Diana?”
“I said, ‘No, I took it out of the show because of you,’” Jackson continued. “She said, ‘No! I want you to do it. Do it. Do the song.’”
