One of the most underrated games ever.
Of all time 💯
Love this game only grew up with the first one.
ASPROO, KAPOWW, YUPIEEE !!! :D
KERSPLAT, OH-OW!!
YAZOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
KOO-POOOPHHHH
SHA-ZAAMMMM
WISHPAT!!!!
WAAALLLAÏÏÏÏ !!!! SUUUUUZZAAAA !!!!!!
I say Croc should get a remaster, I mean its not like Crash and Spyro is just their childhood, Like me Croc got me into gaming before spyro did, It would be awesome if he got a ps4 remake,
Croc and Rayman was my childhood!
+Gocko Wow, me too
Same here ! My first Ps1 games :)
Yoooooooooooo!
Got both of those games for pc from my mom one day as a kid. Loved them to death.
was I the only one who though the map "mud pit mania" was a fucking bitch to complete at 6 years old???
A lot of this game is too hard for the average kid. But we were used to stuff like that. And it was cool when you finally beat a level. The kids nowadays throw the controller out of the window when they die three times in the same level. *Cranky Kong Talk*
***** Yeh.. Also, I don't know if its just because of age but it seems like game nowadays have gotten way easier. Now you can complete a game in about 8-9 hours but back with PS1 games, they used to take ages! Sounds weird talking about things 'back in the day' haha :P
***** Christmas version of one of lava cave them 54:53.
Oh god yeah it was a right pain to complete
***** it took me 2 months it is a hard game
27:26
AFGuidesHD as soon as I heard the start of this song, in my head a couple seconds later I heard croc yelling because I always died so much on this level lol
I CAN'T hear the main theme and NOT smile. Those were better times.
According to rumors, apparently Crystal Dynamics owns this series now because in recent surveys for their indie program Croc was listed as a potential candidate for a revival game.
+Cameron Rogers a revival game would be epic... if done properly
dude if what youre saying is true this is the best thing to happen in a while man , sources???
:(((((
@@top10familyguyclipsdaily6 They might be taking their time or be low on funds.
@@Jakob_Herzog fair point, I pray it be so
This is literally making me emotional from the nostalgia hahaha
happy music from a time when there was no worries in your life
21:47 I always loved that map screen theme. So serene and relaxing.
It was the best, godbless :D
L-L-L-L-D-R-R-L-L-D-R-D-L-U-R unlocks every level. Don't know why I still remember this...
Same thing here. One time parents watched me starting the game and typing the code. Only thing they said was: "how the heck you can remember something like that? why cant you use your memory in the school". Im 25 now and i can still remember that code ffs :D
Same here, still remember it now haha
I still remember codes for PSX version of Tomb Raider 3 XD
I would love to see the Croc series receive the Crash HD remaster treatment.
Would be a dream come true
Jez San won't allow it, he's super protective of the Croc IP from other companies and independent developers that show interest in the IP.
Unlike Nintendo, he won't protect the IP from fans as he knows they make no profit from fanworks.
You're getting your wish come true :)
Croc, come back again please! T_T
This is easily one of the best soundtracks of all time. Mastery of theme and variation right there.
Thanks, uploader!!
Yes, great taste. The desert section in particular kicks ass
I made a track list. The titles are my suggestions based on level names.

I loved this game, I still have it. Croc, Spyro, Gex, and Crash are all PlayStation 1 iconic characters in my eyes because I played them all so much but Spyro was my favorite.
Finally the full soundtrack is on UA-cam. This game's soundtrack really is a masterpiece.
I think the composer(s) of this soundtrack definitely deserve some recognition. Musically speaking, this is fantastic. Lots of weird unconventional stuff going on (modality/hungarian minor scale usage/tastefully using notes from outside the key... yaddayaddayadda). basically, these peeps definitely knew their music theory and what they were doing. more stuff like this please.
Yes exactly! So refreshing, and best of all every instrument is mixed/produced so well. This guy did this game a solid deal
I realize I'm replying to a 9 year old comment, but curious if anyone can give timestamps for some of these unconventional things? Asking as someone who knows little to nothing about the technical aspects of music outside of just "thing sounds good"
One of my favorite soundtracks ever.
19:35
Without a doubt the best song
I had played through Croc 2 when I was 4 and only got Croc 1 later. Croc 1 was WAY harder and the 2nd to last level, the one before the final boss stopped me. I cried and yelled and kept trying. Finally until recently, I installed the game once again and it was hard to get running on my newer system, but I beat it and realized just how hard it was for a kid. I beat the baron and cried tears of joy.
Yeah, no Call of Duty nowadays can bring that emotion out of someone.
TheLegitPlay Agreed call of duty will never have anything awesome like croc
TheLegitPlay But did you also beat the TRUE baron?
***** I'm 19, I played Croc 1 & 2 before I knew how to read and it actually helped my development I think.
***** I'm not trying to sound older than I am, I turned 19 in Jan. If you got a problem with that, then I'm sorry you don't like young adults. Do you even know when this game came out? 1997, I was born 1 year earlier. I played this game before I went into school and grew up with this game. I'm not trying to sound older, man, you need to lay off the hate and share a memory with other people who lived the same experience.
+K&AGamers Calm down man xD Everyone sounds like old men in these videos so don't worry about it
Do you really think a 80 year old would be playing these video games anyway, its unlikey
The tracks are so long but you usually remain in an area for only a couple of seconds... I guess I'll encounter some new bits and pieces when listening through this video.
1:02:00 that's my favourite one :3
1:26:56 and following are atmospharic, too.
and 2:03:28 so much good stuff
2:09:00 until the end of the boss fight... oh man, I didn't even remember the soundtrack being that good. I mean, wow, I could listen to this all day.
Ich bin glaub ich aktuell der einzige, der nur wegen dem special hier ist :D
wenn man abends irgendwas am PC macht und nebenbei Musik laufen lassen will, ist das Video nicht schlecht ;)
I remember playing this with my sister when we was younger. Always my favourite at 4:15 A bit of Columns mixed with the Theremin. R.I.P K
Oh my god. I'm finally hearing this music again. :')
2:07:50 Secret Sentinel
2:09:17 Final Battle
2:11:13 Crystal World Map
2:12:44 Ending Theme
I am nearly 20 years old. This was my FIRST video game and I got it when I was 2 years old back in 1998. Oh this brings back memories. I think I am going to go get my Croc: Legend of the Gobbos copy and replay it all the way through. :D
But when you look back the controls were smooth for the time. It wasn't resident evil bad controls.
35:39 best funky track ever..
Agreed
This game was awesome and soundtrack too, just wish they made games as half as good as this today.
omg that game...remind me a lot of good time in and lot of rage quit XDDD
this music is so joyful. anybody got a time machine and an reverse aging machine?
cute and hard game :3

Из за нелепого управления игра приобретает колоссальную сложность,но сама по себе неплоха мультяшка.
Greatest video game soundtrack of all time!!
I wish I didn't have so much nostalgia for this game so that I could say that this is actually the best video game soundtrack ever. As it stands, I can't trust my own judgment because I've got such nostalgia.
But the sheer quantity of catchy tracks, and the culmination of all the game's ost motifs at the very end boss track is just sublime.

Great video but can you pleae write the soundtrack down in a list so we can choose what we want to listen too thanks
Beautiful game. I remember playing it on Sega Saturn.
All I remember is that the Saturn version had more vivid colors. I'm not certain how the PS one version was.
I never made it to the desert levels, because the game would freeze every time i beat the last boss in the ice levels.
That fucking sucks dude. The desert levels have such kickass music
wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii ahuuuu
Grew up with Croc 2 on PS1, played the Game Boy game in my teens, and just finished this in my adulthood. Great stuff and still fun to this day.
I find it scary that come Halloween of 2017, this game will be 20 years old. This makes me realize I'm getting old...
Youre never too old, if you like this game, why not :) Young gamer to old gamer ^^
It's here. Congrats to one of the finest platform games in existence! Us geezers will always love you.
29 here :)
Memories... MEMORIES EVERYWHEREEE :(
This was my first game, I was about 6 when it came out. Such wonderful music :)
Aw man, the feels...wish this game would make a comeback
That soundtrack btw...so good
It did, just not in the US.
i really love croc music, espechially the intro, its definately my favorite.
i also wanna thank you for this clear as day, clean music from croc, i remember it always being a bit dusty but this is much better quality wise. thank you very much for the upload.
Argonaut pitched this game to Nintendo as a Yoshi game and the worlds first true 3D platformer, which Nintendo hated (but stole the software to make Mario 64)... so Argonaut reworked the game to become this masterpiece, and is all the better for it
How to download it?
the best game.aaaaaaaa so nostalgic
He should of been in ps all stars
Maybe, you could import them from the U.S. if you really wanted to.
35:37
46:06 my favourite
just had a dream about this game, thanks for helping me find my favourite one!
Mine too!!!
I meant the second game.
Ahh! The memories!!!! I'm pretty sure I was like 5 or 6 when I played this. How the time just flies by...
Multiple sources told me it was only officially released in UK because sales of the game were so good there. So if it was sold in the US, it was likely unofficial.
20 Minutes in and all I hear is 9000 variations on the same two or three fucking songs. Wasn't this soundtrack amazing?! I hope it gets better :/
There's a lot more to it than that.
It just uses that theme to tie the whole game together. Very well done, I feel.
That's what makes it excellent. Few themes and a lot of very different variations of it. I think that they are very well varied, but i do understand your critics. That was a good approach of keeping a kind of unique atmosphere in the game...
Good odd' daysss
23:20 is one of my favorites!
Multiple sources are feeding you lies.
I'm for sure downloading this album, it's all I ever wanted.
To the one person that disliked this at this point in time, we're not friends anymore.
Well, we did get 4 games, if you count the GBC games as well.
"Hiyup" - Croc
I'm having the biggest nostalgia attack right now.
Still have both games, croc and rayman was absolutely the best games ever, the music, the story and the gameplay ❤️❤️❤️❤️
My childhood... when the platforming games where on there peak, with charming soundtrack, a good challenge with each level and for the time cool characters from choose from: Croc, Mario, Rayman, Spyro etc. Thumbed up bro!
50:28 oh man I love that track
52:39 Love That Song
oh my god, those pictures are so cute.
they need to bring this game back for sure
Thanks for uploading this!
que recuerdos trae cuando tenia 9 años..
Old SCHOOL !!!!
1:03:58 - Looking over the cliff with the waterfall in the background at the final main room of 'I Snow Him So Well'
2:01:34 Dance version of Tower of Power.
I remember being so focused when playing this I would need to pee but I just held it for hours
Childhood in a nutshell
I am so playing this after my exams are over!! Which is soon!!
damn, so much work went into this soundtrack.
Nostalgic PS1 funk. Aw yeah~
I've never played this game, but I like how it sounds. A lot.
Wie is hier door lekker spelen?
2:01:35
i used to go over to a boys house just to play this game when i was a kid !!!
My first PSX game.
Croc.
1:03:57
Nostalgia is to strong for me.
It never ceases to amaze me how much work was put into the music of this simple little game. Thank you so much for the link to the downloads!
I never thought I'd hear this song again.
Nice artwork!!
This soundtrack has no right being as good as it is.
REMAKE ON THE WAY!!!
Gosh darn, this is like sweet love to my ears.
So much 70s prog influence on the underground themes. Love it.
