i still even after this video think the Commodore CDTV memory card is the most obscure memory card, the obscurity of the machine certainly helps with the obscurity of the card. I will say it's not weird though.
I wasn't aware of the of the CDTV memory card before; it definitely is super obscure and seems like it would win in the rarity department. Thanks for the heads up and for checking out the video!
I had the Lara Croft memory card as a kid. I needed a new memory card and it was all that was in stock at the store I went to at the time. So I bought it. Its ugly. But it worked as intended. Still a weird piece of gaming history tho. lol
Heya, I liked your video. But if you don't mind some feedback, for your audio, it's missing a lot of higher frequency sound. I would definitely try to use a dif mic. That'll help to add that extra layer of polish. Subscribed off this vid btw. :)
Those character cards are crazy, I kinda like them though haha. Odama is a weird game, I saw someone stream it using the microphone. That biosensor is weird 😅
Me too! I'm on the hunt for a Duke Nukem N64 variant. Right? I can totally see why the Bio Sensor is a Japan-exclusive 🤣. Thanks for checking out the video my friend!
Wow, you got pretty much _everything_ wrong about the Sega CD and Saturn backup carts. Impressive. Also, why on earth do you include stuff like the GameCube microphone?
When those memory cards were first released, the 360 did not allow usb memory expansion. It was added later in an update. The later 360s even ditched the memory card slots.
The Sega CD and Saturn _Back Up_ carts you show are really just memory cards. They don't boost the work RAM available for games at all (although the Saturn also had a RAM expansion cart released, but that was a different thing.) Unlike contemporary Sony or Nintendo consoles, both these Sega systems came with built-in space to save to, so you didn't actually _need_ one of these carts. A Back Up cart would hold significantly more data than the base console though. Also, I can't see how the PlayStation PocketStation was in any way "forward thinking" when they just copied the entire concept from the Dreamcast...

Hey, thank you very much for the feedback and for subscribing! I am very overdue for a mic upgrade, do you have any suggestions?

Solid choice! Thanks for checking out the vid!
Me too, it kept corrupting my saves. :(
I have that madcatz ps1 memory card still lol 😆
Also the memory card red buttons let's you change which card you want to use. It's an 8 in 1.
xbox 360 256mb cards is dumbiest what i seen... why not to use usb instead
@@strikesell Yeah those 256mb cards were so pointless during that era 😂. Thanks for checking out the video!
My only guess is that maybe usb flash drives were more expensive back when that original 360 model came out?
@ i think it is marketing like with ps vita special cards and not to use just MICRO SD
