But i'm not sure if I can give you a better answer. Normally trials and DLC should go onto the Xbox Hard Drive or if you don't have an Xbox Hard Drive then it should go onto a configured USB stick. For XBLA, Indie and DLC they need to be in a specific place for the Xbox to recognize them as in Storage Device/Content/0000000000000000/then a folder with a bunch of random numbers and letters. like 58401C83 for example. That way XM360 will be able to locate and unlock them.
Yes you can do it that way but if you have other things in the content folder that you don't want to show up then you should do it individually. Also if you have loads of folders in there and lots of DLC Arcade and Indie games it can cause FreeStyleDash to crash sometimes that's why I do them individually.

Best series ever even in 2021 I know many people aren’t modding Xboxs still but I still love modding I just started and this is the whole reason I learned to solder it took me a few years to get good at it (I started at 12 y/o now 14) but now I’ve gotten a jtag xbox and an rgh 1.2 Xbox with insta boots :) thank you so much for all the help along the way.

Yes you can keep the trials on the USB if you don't have an Xbox Hard Drive and unlock and play them.
yes select the folder you have all the games in and put the scan depth to 8.

Does your jtag still work after all these years? And what model is it?
Yeah I know. I don't have my Jtag online I can play online using LiNK and I can mod games like MW2, Cod 4, Cod 5 on Xbox Live using system link with Jtag to Retail. I only get online with my Jtag when an Xbox Live bypass gets leaked like Xelive in September 2012.

If you have live block on then you can connect to the internet without also being connected to Xbox Live.
You need to have your console updated to the latest dashboard before you go online.
Use LiNK. Watch Jtag Tutorials Episode 12. LiNK has a Room for Indie Games Arcade and Xbox Clasic.

In the video I get my trials on my Retail Xbox using Xbox Live and then transfer them across to the Jtag to unlock. If you can't do that then download the trials from Xbox360iso.c o m search the JTAG/RGH XBLA Games and Emulators section.
You use your retail Xbox to download the trials or just download the indie/arcade games from xbox360iso.
Yes you can and yes there is a big risk of getting banned.

I don't have the patience for all this anymore though so have gone back to my vanilla 360. I just wanna play games without the disc, not send my time trying to get my console to play old Xbox games and arcade titles! lol
Xex/Jtag is a great idea and technical achievement though and I admire the mod scene, just wish I had the patience for this! lol

There is no way. It is only unlocked for the Jtag.

if it does put a xbox 360 game into one of the wrong spots then go to the game press the y button and move the game to the right spot , it does happen

The scan depth does not work as you describe it. It counts it from the default folder you apply.
so was watching the video and you are adding alot of paths for no reason so here is how to make it easier for you and others , click the xbla spots , go to scan depth to 8 , click on change path and make it only these steps , Hdd1:\Content\0000000000000000\ and in the top where the empty folder is press y to select directory and then x to save , that will find all of the xbla games and put them into the right spot , instead of scanning each one one by one and making alot of paths
Hello video maker, I am trying to play the impossible game level pack which is an indie game. When I try to open the game it says " You need to sign in to xbox live to play it" As you know we have Jtag xbox's , so, how can we fix this and play the game ?
10:57 That's not how scan depth works. Scan depth means that FSD will scan the specified number of subdirectories starting from the path you selected (not the root). In that case, scan depth 1 was enough. Just saying, love your videos :)
True but this also would slow down FSD 7 years ago lol, idk about now though

This is old and outdated. This no longer works with indie games. If you noticed there is not one tutorial with indie games over the past 4 years showing indie running through aurora or fsd. Microsoft squashed it with a dash update and FSD nor Aurora developers could keep up.

Can I just ask - in this episode and episode 3 when you added games to FSD via 'Manage Game Paths' - is it possible to just let FSD see your 'Games' folder and set the scan depth up a bit and have it find all the games within that one folder? And then another scan for your Arcade/Indie folder with the same method but tick the 'Arcade/Indie' boxes??

Secondly, I've looked everywhere, and can't find a decent answer but, how do I change the directory XM360 scans? I am transferring a ton of trials onto my Jtag, and I use a 1TB External drive for all my games.
I've tried changing the server config of XM360 so it says USB0, instead of HDD, but it doesn't work :S

Nice tutorials bro. Hit me up on live if you have room on your friends list. I have an RGH, retail and a flashed retail xbox as well. Load a tutorial on how to burn an ISO for the flashed xbox and safely go online without getting flagged.

Just wondering why my XM360 on my RGH console isn't picking up the demo games that I download from live. I can see them when I browse my games but not in XM360.

Gawd Triller Go to HDD, Games, press y and Copy DVD, let the disc go and spin then click confirm.

Can you do a guide for people who don' t own TWO xboxes :D We without a retail xbox just download the Arcades and Indie games from internet instead?
And do you really need to set game paths for single games/indies? Why don't you just set a game path for:
X:\Games ?
X:\Indies ?
Will it not just scan them and automatically add all it finds?
If you watch episode 4 you will see how to download games from the internet. You just download from the JTAG/RGH XBLA Games and Emulators section on www.Xbox360iso.com/ and as for the game path scanning yes you can do it that way but in some cases it can slow down FSD which is why I show the long way.

On your tutorial you said that you have to copy first the XBLA game in XBOX HDD to your USB. But how about if I don't have to copy the XBLA game to USB, just go straight to copying the XM360 to XBOX HDD and launch it with XEXmenu then unlock the XBLA that's already inside my XBOX HDD. Will it still works? I already have the XBLA games in my HDD, just want to unlock it.
