These are the newer ranch homes. They came in the SL20B birthday week.
The premium plus gives you 600 lindens a week and free uploads of textures. Your land allocation is higher.
I call them the Linden Council estate lol
I’d say I won’t keep up the premium plus for long as for me I prefer private regions.
Nope you can’t edit terrains in the premiums. The lag is also painful too sadly. Especially when it gets busy.
Good info for people. The word I was looking for was region lol. I noticed the lag also, not something I'd want to spend that much money on monthly tbh 😅
Yea, that is something that I really can't stand about Mainland land is the fact that you can't edit terrain to a certain point and that was going to drive me back to Luxory Estates too, because that is definitely one of my land go-to when purchasing full regions and homesteads.
As a content creator Premium Plus is 100% worth it for me, specially with PBR costs it was far too expensive without it.
This is exactly the reason why I pay for premium plus! Without it, it's 10L per texture upload, that adds up A Lot! So the extra is worth the premium plus pricing, in my opinion. ❤
lol, I’m British too, I’ve been playing SL since 2010, used to have premium years ago but I pay £25 a month for a private sim with 1000+ prims, it’s perfect.
In my personal opinion, I think it is defo worth it. I love 2second lyf 2 bits.

Premium plus has a lot more features, such as more groups, free texture uploads, discounts on making groups and posting events. Not to mention you can get a homestead without having to have a full sim. I think premium plus is more geared towards creators as the free unlimited texture uploads saves so much money.
for me it is 100% worth it i don't care about the homes i have a region 65,536m i make stuff i would not call myself a content creator because i don't sell my stuff but the thing is i can very easily upload 40+ textures and or sounds a day and that would cost 4000L+

The only reason I pay for premium account is because they allow your avatar to hold more prims on your body so you can attatch your animesh babies to your body.
i mainly use premium plus for free uploads and also it makes owning mainland cheaper becuase i have up to 2048 of free land allowance so i have a decent sized forest on mainland its like a 5120 i think or something close

No, in the past I paid for a premium on SL to have my own home and a land and I didn't have any privacy, I had a couple land owners who were males that was neighbors texting me that had watch my avitar when she was naked when I was changing her clothes commenting on her body when I was dressing her saying she had a nice body, and one other person that was a furry popped in my place through the roof looked at my avitar then walked out the door, if you dont like privacy and enjoy voyeurism, that's why I always pay for the private lands with the water falls😊..
Hi! I know I’m late viewing this video. I didn’t even know you’re still in SL (your last video I watched was that one when you told us that you were leaving). I’d like to share that I do get the benefit of being a Premium Plus sub, which are:
- normally, if I rent a plot, it’s not for my house but for my shop. Since I got premium I got the motivation to decorate a house
- I know that having Premium Plus for you doesn’t make sense, but unless you’re gonna upload a bunch of textures and animations for your mesh creations, you really do not need Premium Plus. I do upload a bunch of them, now I don’t have to worry about my textures and animations upload, I get stippend too. I am not even a shopper, but now I know I don’t have to worry about upload costs when I want to buy something in SL.
- I can buy 1024sqm Linden Home and buy 1024sqm mainland for my little shop; this way I don’t have to pay additional fees per month/week :)
So we all know whether something is beneficial or not really depends on what someone needs. Not everyone does the same things as you do. And yes I knew about those land rentals. Been on SL since 2006. Not that long but enough to know about it 😁🤭
Personally I think that it is not worth being premium. I didn't know about Luxory states, thanks for showing it.

Let me issue a correction, not prims but square meters. Not prims.

I pay 99 a year, thats enough for me.
For me, as a very long time member of SL... It's the added group availabilty, double the norm... I rent my own Sim so the Linden home stuff isn't anything that attracted me to be honest, you get what you pay for in SL for sure, no actual shortcuts... cost of living crisis? If you are in the UK ((as I am)) then if I was perhaps looking at cutting my costs then SL would be perhaps one of the first... As for renting parcels, you have a whole lottery regarding lag which you haven't touched upon at all, even though if you are using a slow computer it will be crucial? figures are ok... but of course all you seem to be doing is making a video for monetisation :(

Yeah later in the video I checked the SL website properly and saw it was now 29
People get twice as many LI on a 2048 m parcel, twice as much for their weekly stipend, and free uploads of textures and meshes with Premium Plus.
Plus let's people buy mainland, but they can't get a Linden Home.
The gifts are not worth it.
I have to disagree about the land part of it. It's much cheaper to purchase tier from Linden then getting a homestead from a private estate. You also get more prims. This is something that I've gone over again and again over the years and as someone that has had both a private homestead and abandoned land, I personally prefer the latter option better. It may only be a couple of dollars more then an abandoned region but I always go back to the prim allowance. I would also, stick with just Premium and not the Premium Plus. I was on Premium Plus since it was created for the free uploads, but after reevaulating it that was really the only reason that I got that option. Tier allowance only changes if you request to increase or decrease it, so it doesn't have any bearings on that end of it unless you're just on the basic plan.
