Razor has been my fav synth for at least 3-4 years now. Its raw and digital but it can sound more tamed if you know your stuff. Absolutely fantastic, even if you dont use it in your music, playing with it is so much fun.

Yea definitely needs a refresh since it is optimized for a 4 core processor. Since its build in reaktor though you can tweak under the hood if you know how to do it. I remember AU5 showing how a few years back.
Would love to see what a refresh in this would look like. I love what it does, how it sounds, the ease of usage and what's under the hood. I just got this in the sale, and it is definitely a different animal. I found a lot of good pad presets, but I will need to do a lot of tweaking on everything else. But that’s okay. Sometimes a guy just needs some different sounds. Thanks for the heads up.

The presets are fire and well worth it. And having the ability to create sounds like this makes it a dope synth from NI. For some odd reason it wasn't coming up in the MK3 for me at all when I did it. It shows up as default and just the midi information. I will try it in Komplete Kontrol again and see if it comes up. Appreciate that Mick! Happy New Year! 💯

Hello guys, I got problem that I am not able to hear preview of sounds When I m listing through presets in Maschine MK3, other sounds working, only Razor not. Got set IT but still not working...do you have same problem? Did you solve it? Thanks

Ok so as far as sound preview make sure first that yo have Native Access updated, then go on their and update your Maschine and the Preview sounds from Native Access. ayy! au5 has a video on how to increase the resolution! there are also more mods to be made, you can add extra lfos etc but i havent fiugred that seccond one (adsr has a playlist of free razor tuts! and he adds an lfo, but it didnt work for me)

Razor shows up in Komplete Kontrol, and you can use it directly from the keyboards too
