@@jonathanclark6489 He had the chunk borders on to be in one of those chunks and on the left side of F3 you can see "Chunk:" and 3 letters, if the first and last are 9,(in this case --> 9 2 9) then there could be a treasure chest under you.... but if there is really one generated in that chunk or even somewhere in nearby chunks is luck

To find the bastion he uses the entity count (the bastion has more mobs in it), for the fortress it’s kind of an educated guess, the portal is based off of the eyes he throws (he uses a calculator).

@@hawaiianseaturtle009 Thats done with the little pie chart in the bottom right, but honestly I don't know exactly how. It also is based on the fact that treasure is always at X:9 Z:9 in a chunk
@@YT7mc The pie chart shows entities in "view", that includes chests, so looking around and checking the chest slice gives you an idea where a chest is (you only need to locate the chunk based on the 9/9) - but finding that consistently needs a lot of practice and some black magic.

@@nottherealben well his short pb was wr 6 months ago and his normal pb was wr 4 months ago. I don't know about his inclined and onestack pb's but they are both a long way off from wr, so make of that what you will (his inclined pb is 6.9, wr is 5.35, and his onestack pb is 11.4, wr is 11.0)

Honestly you're coming closer and closer to the title of best minecraft player. You were the best Bridger, it can now be argued that you are the best speedrunner. Beat dolly in a duel and get cracked at Redstone and building and your good.
Bro what is with this mindset. Best minecraft player is completely arbitrary, just look through videos on (let's say) the best redstone player and you'll see how many things there are to dominate for just "one niche category". Coming back to speedrunning, best time doesn't necessarily mean best speedrunner either.. do you get the point? And I love how people who spout off stuff like this always pivot to UA-camrs(minemanner, doly, clownpierce, fruitberries, etc) as the best players when they don't test even close to the top of any official tier list. Just say someone is cracked instead of looking for someone to worship as the greatest Minecraft player of all time
@@PigeonFlare sorry, I know there so much different things to do in minecraft you can't be cracked at everything and that the best player is likely to be a random but I thought it was a nice thing to say and I wanted to show that contrary to most known players doog is at the top of several "niche" as you say. Moreover, I said it could be argued that he is the best speedrunner and therefore never said that he was or that he would be because he got wr, in my opinion saying he has 5 sub 10s including a sub 9 is more convincing anyway. Plus I think you need to play more than one category to be the best player and that's why in my opinion he isn't the best speedrunner. Even I I would understand if someone thought so. I see why you were angry but I think you just misunderstood what I was trying to say. I think it will never be possible to nominate someone best minecraft player but if I had to I would say first that it's impossible using (among others) your arguments but then I would say that I understand why people would say doog. I even wanted to write a text explaining why it's impossible to find the best speedrunner so I get that you are mad and I apologize but I think I just said things badly.

I just wrote that response for other people who might actually have that sentiment since it can lead to things like animosity between fanbases.

Not pearling at 3:50 was tragic: from here, it took 21 seconds to get onto the fort, but could have definetely been under 6 with a pearl throw. Still think you're the most likely person to get sub 8 after sagi, cube, brent, mynski, sizzler, fe, tln, illumina, reign, couri, korb, dimeax and benex.
WHERE would you pearl, you either pearl into the bad part of the fort, which us an even further time loss or have to dig through netherrack anyway, while taking unnecessary damage for a 2 sec time save
u just gonna risk ur life if u pearl at that point lol
