Bruh I used to think back on how jacob imprinted on a child and how it was almost defended because he was meant to be a “protector” and imprinting is not inherently sexual but if you think about it he still has to hang around this baby he’s constantly around her he will be there while she grows up and while she continues through puberty in his mind she’s his and only his and he lives to be with her so she has no choice but to love Jacob so it’s grooming it’s literally just everyone allowing him to hover over that baby and basically train her to love him

I was there, girl. I. WAS. THERE. When Carlisle's CGI head appeared on the big screen, it was absolute CHAOS. There was screaming, wailing, crying, shouting. It was wild. And thinking back on it, I love it and I'm so glad that I was able to have the full experience. 😂 But nothing will top the reaction of all of us dumb bitches when it turned out to be a damn vision. I was at a midnight screening of this movie, and when they took Carlisle’s head it was pandemonium. Screaming. Multiple people, from different sections of the theater, shouted in unison, “that didn’t happen in the book!” It was great.
I'm just sad that he didn't put up much of a fight, at all. He's supposed to be the oldest Cullen and he even spent time with the Volturi ages ago. He should have been much stronger and much more skilled in battle. They just did him dirty by killing him off first.

Stephanie Meyer really went out of here way to make Jacob and Renesmee a thing, right down to making the oddest logic to being a half vampire. When I first read the book I thought it would just mean she aged slower, but of course she had to speed the process in an attempt to make Jacob less creepy and...it didn't really work. Also I love that their entire resolution was left in the hands of literally one other half vampire showing up and saying he's fine. Like first off, that really doesn't mean much when there's still so much not know about them. Second, how do we know he's not lying? Like he just said what he's like and they just took his word for it.
I think if you make it more about souls which I think the book was leaning more towards than science, you'd find it easier to think maybe the werewolves imprint on souls
This is really when the "Mary Sue" trope kicks in because Bella's suddenly the best vampire from her awakening and has a super power she didn't know about; she's explained to be a "shield" the whole thing of other vampires not being able to read her mind was only "unlocked" I guess you could say after she became one.

Bella was a shield, that was a big part of the whole “battle” and why she was able to show Edward her memories. Also they explained that they made the baby cg because they wanted to actually have the baby look like Kristen, rob and the actual girl who played renesme. It ended up being a hot mess of course but that’s what they said lol
Also the baby was supposed to have teeth. So they could go into the whole are they able to turn people because if you remember, she bit Bella when she was born but she doesn’t have venom. The male half vampire at the end had half vampire sisters but he was the only one able to turn people

The thing is that they just look like north american natives, so basically they just put them in a melting pot and said "good enough". Clearly they put no research into it, and they didn't bother specifying wich type of natives they were, wich is also pretty awlful, they just say "Brazilian natives from the amazon".

Saw this movie in theaters with my mom when I was 14 and it’s honestly still one of the best movie theater experiences I’ve had so far LOL. At that last battle scene everyone was screaming and crying cause we were like THEY CHANGED THE BOOK ENDING!!! … but then when they reveal it’s a vision it got sooo quiet 😂 I was enraged. Gosh Twilight was such a cultural moment if you were a tween/teen girl between 2008 and 2012. Thanks for bringing all my memories back Kendall.

Technically Jacob was attracted to the embryo inside Bella. Girls are born will the embryos and donot produce more in the lifetime, biologically speaking. I forgot seth dies in the official version. I've read so many fanfics over the years where that's not the case. I hate read the books over the space of a week when I was sick. And goddamn... just no. But some of the characters had decent potential so, I gave fanfic a shot. But I literally threw the damned books across the room. Woman seriously had the bones of a frankly terrifying horror story, and makes a crappy story that's as bland as a stale piece of bread...😒

It was more the last half hour that wasn't real. Everything leading up to Alice coming back with the half-human is true. The book explains that Alice shows the vision, but it's never described in detail what he sees, just that he's sufficiently convinced to leave the situation be. The franchise is still a dumb story but it wasn't half the movie.
I did both and this series and Dominic Noble's review/retrospective series on Twilight have been a welcome part of my "keep sane in 2020" routine. So many fandom/anti-fandom memories that resurfaced, man.

I was at a midnight screening of this movie, and when they took Carlisle’s head it was pandemonium. Screaming. Multiple people, from different sections of the theater, shouted in unison, “that didn’t happen in the book!” It was great.

Stephanie Meyer really went out of here way to make Jacob and Renesmee a thing, right down to making the oddest logic to being a half vampire. When I first read the book I thought it would just mean she aged slower, but of course she had to speed the process in an attempt to make Jacob less creepy and...it didn't really work. Also I love that their entire resolution was left in the hands of literally one other half vampire showing up and saying he's fine. Like first off, that really doesn't mean much when there's still so much not know about them. Second, how do we know he's not lying? Like he just said what he's like and they just took his word for it.

@@kachiin They dressed them incredibly inaccurate. In Brazil, Natives tend to be more colorful and have more accesories and handmade clothing, and they very rarely use leather as clothing. The thing is that they just look like north american natives, so basically they just put them in a melting pot and said "good enough". Clearly they put no research into it, and they didn't bother specifying wich type of natives they were, wich is also pretty awlful, they just say "Brazilian natives from the amazon".

Saw this movie in theaters with my mom when I was 14 and it’s honestly still one of the best movie theater experiences I’ve had so far LOL. At that last battle scene everyone was screaming and crying cause we were like THEY CHANGED THE BOOK ENDING!!! … but then when they reveal it’s a vision it got sooo quiet 😂 I was enraged. Gosh Twilight was such a cultural moment if you were a tween/teen girl between 2008 and 2012. Thanks for bringing all my memories back Kendall.

Technically Jacob was attracted to the embryo inside Bella. Girls are born will the embryos and donot produce more in the lifetime, biologically speaking. Men on the other hand produce their sperm in their testicles. That is why women can't have babies after a certain age while men can have them for as long as they live.

I forgot seth dies in the official version. I've read so many fanfics over the years where that's not the case. I hate read the books over the space of a week when I was sick. And goddamn... just no. But some of the characters had decent potential so, I gave fanfic a shot. But I literally threw the damned books across the room. Woman seriously had the bones of a frankly terrifying horror story, and makes a crappy story that's as bland as a stale piece of bread...😒

It was more the last half hour that wasn't real. Everything leading up to Alice coming back with the half-human is true. The book explains that Alice shows the vision, but it's never described in detail what he sees, just that he's sufficiently convinced to leave the situation be. I did both and this series and Dominic Noble's review/retrospective series on Twilight have been a welcome part of my "keep sane in 2020" routine. So many fandom/anti-fandom memories that resurfaced, man.
