I appreciate the feedback! I REALLY WANT TO lol, but I can't put my finger on what it is, but the shots just don't appear as smooth as 30 fps. My guess is that maybe it could be the shutter speed I'm using which is 1/160 since all of my camera's shoot in 60 fps for slowmo.
@@BlackbirdProductions yea you'd need to shoot your 60fps footage at 1/60 and then slow to 40% - when shooting regular 24fps shoot at 1/48 (sometimes called 1/50) - But also you may be used to looking at 30fps and not prefer 24. Great work either way.
@@thefilmpoets I used 24p when making local short films in a past life so I am familiar with what it's suppose to look like, but yeah I'll try that when I shoot more b-roll of the car.
I just bought a model 3 awd long range and for a daily it is great, quick, convenient and so easy to drive, but my weekend car still is a 2014 Nissan GTR, with current mods its faster than a Model 3 performance and at the same time it makes all the right noises, i do love the instant response of the EVs but nothing beats the feeling of a modified turbo engine when you want to have fun, Now for a commuter nothing beats an electric car like the Tesla, just waking up to a full charge , good sound system with navigation and self driving, others wont understand till they actually daily drive one
I agree, can’t go wrong with a GTR, and this is the setup I actually wanted again- having a commuter paired with a weekend car. I’ve been fortunate enough to own a couple of exotics but due to my living situation I’ve had to consolidate down into one car. Maybe in 2025 I can buy another BMW i8 (not fast) but I still enjoy it.
I would have plugged it anyways. Tires are wear and tear. Plugged michelin pilot sport 4s near side wall. Never had an issue with it. 135 mph no problem.
@@EUCRolling Ah.. I'm not 100% sure then lol. All I know is that a tire rotation service was prompted through my Tesla app and in the car's service tab on the screen. Something was serviced though I know that much. I'll keep an eye on my tires for the next couple of days and if I find anything I might make a video about it.
I mean the Model 3 Performance is only 100 pounds heavier than a BMW G80 M3 , I have both and honestly they both drive nimbly and are no where near a 7 series as far as turning radius / feel go.
This concept of being accepted by a community due to your car is crazy to me, no matter what you do for a living. Texas is big oil, so of course people don't like EVs for absolutely no good reason. I also agree with the novelty of the 24 MP3 wearing off, but to be honest, the idea of being bored with a car quickly is a generational thing. Always onto the next thing and never satisfied with what you have. Enjoy it for what it is! It's a fun toy to get you from point A to point B. There are other areas of your life to find happiness.
Absolutely! I couldn’t agree more. The car communities in Dallas have always been like this-unless you’re part of an EV-focused group (and I’m sure there are some out there). I also agree with the generational perspective, which I think ties into a larger issue of consumerism-constantly feeling unsatisfied and upgrading year after year. I used to fall into that cycle myself, especially with tech like laptops and phones, but I’ve consciously pulled back from it.
Oh you can't go wrong with a Civic Sport Touring hatch, but I'd say unless it's like a cherry red or wine red car I can't see myself in it, but that's just me lol
How could you expect Tesla or any other car manufacturer to replace a tire under warranty after getting a nail in it. And you can’t rotate the tires front to back they’re different sizes. I get the feeling you regret buying that car

Used model 3 prices are competitive and offer more than most 2024 Hondas and toyotas.
Drove the 2025 long range awd. Decided to keep the 2019 lr awd. Couldn't justify paying 35k for the newer car. Even with referral and tax credit

I’m not sure… all of my wheels were rotated. I can’t imagine just getting 2 of them done. 🤷♂️
@BlackbirdProductions you should call and ask. The front tires do not fit the back. And vice versa.
My guess is that maybe they swapped the left with the right or vise versa, but that's a good point I forgot the performance models were staggered lol

I had a 2022 red Honda Civic sport touring hatch and I never had any road rage driver incidents thank goodness..lol😂
