I went on a 2-day event. The first day was the day after being sick for a week. My HR data for that day was 10-15 BPM higher than my normal for the same speed & terrain. The second day of the event I felt much closer to normal health-wise and my HR was 10-15 BPM lower than the first day. Can sickness effect the efficiency of the body - such that my heart had to work harder the first day due to the residual effects of still being slightly sick?
FANTASTIC!! Thx. Great info. The examples were the BEST!
You had a week off! 🤣. Also dehydration, caffeine, heat and if you smash too many carbs!
