Mehmed is strong as heck in kvk2. So if you spend at all, buy bundles that give some gold keys. Don't use gold heads, except maybe Charles who is good even in SOC kvk's. In other's you regret spending heads and having gazillion Mulan, El Cid, Cao Cao sculptures.

In KVK 2 Khan is a beast, I would have paired Saladin/Khan is better than Saladin/YSG. Also if you want to use ysg with Saladin and have Khan to be paried, JC is a really good option to pair Khan with. JC as second will add alot of tankiness and buff khan's skill from 2nd skill cycle when holding your ground. Also Alex paired with JC will outperform Atila takeda for single target dmg.
Infantry also has way more sustain as well. Can't go wrong with infantry. I suppose it's a matter of opinion, but archers are way too squishy, and you're done-zo as soon as you're focused.
Hey Chisgule ! Great content as always ! I was wondering, do you plan to revisit this video/concept after the changes to KvK3 ? I'm currently at KvK1 and having a great time playing my first RoK playthrough and your videos have been really helpful but I find myself really scared about KvK2 after all these changes and have no idea what I should invest in as a low spender and how to be still able to fight in KvK2 while essentially having 0 new commander to bring out in the field.
I cannot find a new kvk 2 vid, with the new gold key commanders. Also top 5 marches you could field for soc accounts coming back, with ysg in only 1 march lol
@@desaifamily8239 BTW Kusonoki YSG is top tier garisson vs Infnatry in Kvk 2 and not bad against Edward tomyris because he takes of Tomyris poison Saladin YSG Charles YSG and Kusonoki YSG are the best garissons for Kvk 2 for each troop Type there is Also Charles Constantine garisson which can be good to vs Cav itspecially.
A sad thing happened to me with YSG. The LAST YSG wheel had like 10 minutes left and i had spun it 9 times and i had 8 YSG heads and i was gathering gems and fighting barbs in KvK1 and I was 40 GEMS SHORT OF YSG!! So now I dont have YSG.
Definitely a good pair, though I like it more with CM primary for the damage boost. I could be wrong, but CM seems to serve any march he's in better as the primary, so that his damage boost procs before the secondaries active skill pops off. One thing I'm not certain of though, do their shields stack?
What would your top 5 be in practice where you can't use YSG in more than one march? I'd recommend adding Matilda to your list, particularly if you do a budget version, I'm honestly planning to use Aethel/Matilda in my upcoming KvK2.
Matilda is the top end of PvP epics, if more people tested this sort of thing it'd be widely known but unfortunately most people are stuck in the old fashioned mindset: siege can never be combat viable.
You can't use Wu Zetian in kvk 2, even if you migrate back. She'll be good in kvk 3, since SoC commanders still can't be used. After that, she's irrelevant unfortunately
I'm fielding 3 marches in kvk 2, and its always a tough decision where to place ysg. I place my ysg secondary to el cid. There are so many infantry marches, I had to find a better way to use ysg skill damage to exploit that. It works for me but everyone has their different opinions.
Eh, I feel like khan is an awful investment, as he falls off quickly. Save those universals for Nevsky. Khan is incredibly squishy, and if he gets focused, gg. Nevsky is an absolute beast out there, and pairs well with several commanders. You won't be sorry you waited.

You are going to prefer CM + YSG, Richard + Alex, and Saladin + Aethel in that setup. If you can do 3 infantry marches with those commanders, then Richard + Aethel, Alex + YSG, and CM + Sun Tzu would do even better. Alex + CM is great for rallies, especially city rallies, but doesn't really do much in the OF because it's all single target.
Alexander Martel seems better then Alexander Richard to me since Alexander Richard increase the hospital bill meaning f2p players are gonna have a really hard time
It’s ok yeah , but with the new times of servers now we don’t unlock Alex till half way though kvk 2 now, I have a Richard 5541 but useless now as migrates have Alex 🤦🏼♂️

I am surprised I didn’t see a Saladin/khan combo. Saladin is tanky and khan packs a punch, with a rage build it’s veryyy solid
by now you should know, chisgule is all a bout aoe...and no one can deny Alexander the must commander to anyone..
In kvk2 Saladin /Khan is little bit class Cannon. Also u get Saladin after kvk2, not in beginning of kvk2 so it won't help much there.

For the epics Mundeok/Scipio is a surprisingly decent tank-pairing. I toss Scipio in the secondary slot and my best gear on Uljie 💪

Thutmose is an extremely viable archer, can be paired with any other archer. Imhotep also really strong for big group fights.

Gold keys unlock her. Save them up and open 100+ at a time. Not 1 at a time as you get them. You'll get better results.
