My husband and I got married after 7 months of dating and we were engaged for 10 days! I am a total believer in "when you know, you know". I love hearing your story again! I've been watching for a long while now- when you found out about James in the Target lol, and I am so happy to see how you guys have grown and matured over the years.

So sweet! We had a lot of unexpected surprises for our engagement...his mom almost gave it away, the restaurant was closed, and then I thought he was joking... We may have ended up eating at McDonald's after but it was sweet moment that we have no evidence of 😂
I love this story, and the creative proposal. My husband and I were engaged after just 1 official date, and 5 weeks after we met. Married 5 1/2 months later and this fall is our 30th anniversary!! Love a good love story.

My husband and I met at 18 and 19 while he was in the Marine Corps and we couldn’t stand each other. We met again at 20 and 21; we dated for 2 months got engaged and then 3 months after that we got married. So in total from dating to marriage was 5 months and we’ve now been married for 11.5 years! Love y’all’s story!

We got engaged 4 months after we met then 4 months later we got married then had our first child 5 months after that . We celebrated our 34 wedding anniversary in July that’s just gone . And I would do it all the same again . We were both aged 17 a lot said it wouldn’t last . But we showed them ❤❤❤❤❤

Thanks for sharing your Amazing lives with us. My husband and I were very poor too. I wore my Dad's old wedding band and my husband wore his Dad's old one. I continued wearing it until are 3rd wedding anniversary he bought me a diamond ring and a year later we were at a laundry mat and the night before we went to a concert and my hands were swelling i had my 2nd daughter 3 months before so he put them in his pocket well along with some other rings I had on they got washed in the washer and dryer well i didn't see them when I got the clothes out unfortunately when we realized they were missing we went back but they were gone pretty sure the staff kept them. I cried for months he spent our tax check on my ring. We divorced a few years later he was a alcoholic and ended up not able to work so I was supporting him and my 3 daughter's paying for everything he was getting abusive so I told him to leave. I contacted an attorney and started the divorce process he didn't show up for the hearing they set what he would pay me but he would quit his job as soon as they tried taking money out of his check so I never got a penny from him to raise the kids. He had a stroke after the kids were all married. He lived in a nursing home or with his mom before she passed away for several years getting 24 hour nursing care for both of them. I would go care for them every holiday because my kids kids were all younger they had 11 kids between the 3 of them. I didn't have anyone except me. I was disabled too. It killed me changing my ex bed he had accidents often but kept doing it until his mom suddenly passed away. The kid's put him back in a nursing home after a few months. He stayed there until he passed away.
My parents got married after only dating for 2months. They were married for almost 61 years! They had 9 kids, 20 grandkids, 18 great grandkids, and 1 great great grandkid! Sometimes the best things in life happen fast!
My husband and i were engaged for 9months, when it came time for my husband to ask my dad, he had never meet my parents, as we were at bible college in a different state. We also waited till our wedding night. We have now been married 28yrs.

As long as the couple discuss important issues before marriage, time doesn't matter. I asked my husband to marry me day 3 while dating. Before dating, we discussed everything before we even kissed. Just celebrated our 25 wedding anniversary.

My fiancé and I's story is very similar. We got engaged after 3 months dating. We haven't marry yet because I'm in the process of getting my US green card as an unmarried daughter, sooo I have to wait until I get it to marry.
However, we moved together. We are now 6 years and 5 months. Still some years of waiting left. Hopefully we keep growing stronger until we can finally marry and continue to live Happily ever after.
