I'm so thankful he's in the R&R Hall of Fame. I was starting to think he was gunna die first. Thanks for getting me through my teenage years Bob Seger ❤
Bob Seger- ALWAYS live performances kicked ASS too. Always fantastic. We grew up with Bob- he played at my big sister's high school dance in Rochester in the early 1960s. I'm so happy that Kid was able to give the award Bob more than paid his dues for. I don't have ANY confidence in the music industry OR any MSM awards anymore. I'm happy this was done when it still meant something. The people I'm listening to now are independent of this corrupted music industry. They're doing really well too, people like what they offer, don't LIKE being hit with the MSM "message". Too many in this old music industry didn't take the message Bob had about success & maintaining a family being important. They do NOT respect that, at all. And their message is as anti-American as it gets. Their loss!
Words can't describe what "Rockin' Robert" meant to Michiganders. From the early sixties to present, Bob exemplified our music. Even with Motown, we were consumed with his magic. We enjoyed "the best kept secret" forever until he made it big, passionately hungry for the gravelliest voice in rock. Kid's speech, great as it was, could only scratch the surface. From the high school gigs to us chasing this cat in the small bars in Ann Arbor Michigan to the local small arenas in a tri-state area to the places like Cobo Hall, I was fortunate to witness it ALL. THANK YOU BOB, for making my life KNOW what music can do for oneself.
Saw him in the early day's playing clubs on 8 mile, Cobo Hall, Pine Knob, The Joe, Palace of Auburn Hills every chance I could. Best there ever was & still is.
Amazing Era of Music... Seger and Silver Bullet Talent Dominated EVERYTHING! Where is Bob Seger today... We NEED him on the Stage Again Playin Star Again!
Just having people around you for thirty years. Is quite the accomplishment. But what bob and his ( people) Have done is phenomenal. To this day when i am low . Bob's tunes get me back to sea level.
If you listen to "Ramblin' Gamblin' Man" on good speakers, you can pretty clearly identify Glenn Fry singing background vocals. He was still in Detroit before moving to L.A. I Can't believe it took 35+ years before Bob Seger was finally inducted.
Does my old Michigan heart good to see this! I've always had great respect for Bob and his Silver Bullet Band mates. I feel fortunate to have seen him in concert when the band recorded their 'Live' Bullet (1975) concert at Cobo Hall in Detroit. Thanks very much for posting and stay safe 🙏 ☮️
As long as I have listened to Bob Seger this is the first time I’ve ever heard him talk. I love his music and his voice. He really is under rated but he’s so good
There is nothing that compares to "heavy music live" it is the essential must have in a vinyl collection!!!! It gives me chills brings me to tears and reminds me of what REAL AUTHENTIC Rock- in- Roll is!!!!!!
Thank you for the music Bob Seger. They were celebrating her 80th birthday at a restaurant here in Michigan when old time rock and came on she got up and was tearing up the floor dancing! They were laughing , encouraging her. She is a treasure to us . as is your music. Thank you its an evening
Bob Segee is the ipitimy of my youth! I am so lucky to have grown up with this music! There in those times will never be again! The music today could not hold a candle! Nothing is BIGGER! You have the most respect for this! I have introduced younger people today to this music and they are like OMG!
After being a diehard fan from his 70s breakout, I finally saw him 1986 at the Omni in Atlanta. It was packed out!! What an artist. His later stuff is just superb, but His Night Moves will not be topped! Seger fan for life.
Great ballads, love his songs. Grew up listening to his unique songs, love 'em all. Thank you Bob, you and your band more than deserve to be in the Hall!!
I sure wish there was such a thing as a time machine, I live through those days, but it would be damn nice if I could go back and live in those days again. It's a bitch to get old.
I'm kind of off but I think there are 2 musician rock n roll gods alive and Bob Seger is one of them . He has that style that voice and that I don't know just that Bob Seger about him . We love you Bob
Hello Karenreardon5398, how're you doing, Your comment caught my attention and that is why I am reaching out to you. Your fan love for me warms my heart, Thank you!❤️
My dad & me loved you back then R.I.P DADDY & I still jam to your music 😊& Daddy he would play your albums when I was 16 year's old & he would play his guitar along with your song's . Thank you & ❤ you Bob Seger ❤
Bob Segar and the Silver Bullitt band was the definition of Rock and Roll! Live Bullitt was the best live album ever recorded! Bob is a true American Legend
As young Kiwi in the 70's and 80's Bob was always there. And as a massive Stones fan I'm glad it took years to connect Exile on Main St and Down on Main St We don't use that expression in NZ but it all makes sense
My wife and I were in Cozumal last year. Someone was playing a cover of Bob on the beach. I played the real Bob. A few songs, not to offend others. Nobody complained. In fact, then it went from a reggae version of "Country Roads" John Denver. To "Country Roads by John Denver. All good. Some better than others.
Thank you so much for uploading this! I've previously not found any video from the Live Bullet Era, in my not so humble opinion one of the top ten live albums of all time. ❤❤❤
Bob Seger played with band at Dub's in Gainesville, FL played songs from "Back in '72". After he played, sat with him across table in his Winnebago parked out back. I told him I wanted to hear "Turn the Page" and he explained he couldn't play that due to contract dispute. It was just people talking after a show, he was a real performer for that small crowd at Dub's. He came back next year and we there again.
I've seen the reports on UA-cam & NOWHERE do I read he died. In fact, all the reports have him well & (trying to remember) 78. Don't pay attention to that horse manure that's spread throughout YT before you double & possibly triple check it out.
Bob, you never got so much as a dime for all those times I sang Old Time Rock and Roll or Turn the Page in those bars that ran the gamut from dives to really nice. But I hope you were feeling the respect and admiration soul I tried to put into em each and every time. Wow, was it really 32 years ago I left that band?
Greatest songwriter and rock voice in history and that’s saying a lot because of Gordon Lightfoot,James Taylor, Jim Croce etc! BUT, if you lookup white folks don’t have rhythm, there will be a live performance of Bob Seger singing! But Who needs rhythm when you have NIGHT MOVES!!!
@officialbobseger39 I’ve been a fan of yours since 1975 when I was living in London UK. I moved to California back in 2014 and I was due to see you in concert in Sacramento in March of 2015. Sadly the concert was postponed which was made more painful because it was a birthday treat. Not to worry, we saw you a few months later at the same venue. Many people remarked at how great it was that my children 9 & 14 were there also. Thank you for the music.
Rock Hall of Fame is a joke! If it took a petition to induct Bob Seger in!!!!! Ridiculous, some of the ones that are in there, that are not even rock!!! I mean it’s Bob F’ing Seger!!!! The Greatest!!
Hall of Fame is as ridiculous as Rolling Stone. They’re so lost it’s not even funny. They inducted Eminem, who I love but doesn’t belong there, before genuine rock legends.
Gentleman,respects women,loves kids,doesn't grand stand,just lives in his music.
Bob Seger is the rock G.O.A.T.
❤
One of the best but underrated musicians ever. About time his talent was finally acknowledged
So, so very true
I'm so thankful he's in the R&R Hall of Fame. I was starting to think he was gunna die first. Thanks for getting me through my teenage years Bob Seger ❤

He is truly a Legend! Been a Seger fan since the 70's! I love all his music! He greatly deserved this award!!!
Thanks for extending the tribute to Alto Reed. I saw Bob in Cleveland on his last tour. What a showman!

this man is so humble- i wish and hope the current artists and those yet to evolve learn what it's like to be great in every sense of the word
Bob Seger was a hardworking rock and roller. He paid his dues. Glad to see him get this honor.

My first introduction to Bob was in 76 in Baltimore when he opened for Kiss. It was worth the price just watching him. Detroit ‘s best kept secret.
As an special operator in Afghanistan and Iraq, this is what keeps me going. Music brings light to darkness.
Thank you for the music Bob Seger.

I remember being at Pampa Studios I believe it was 1976 when they recorded Night Moves.
He's the Real Deal. Meat and potatoes rock music.
To paraphrase Tina Turner, “Simply the best!”
@officialbobseger39 I’ve been a fan of yours since 1975 when I was living in London UK. I moved to California back in 2014 and I was due to see you in concert in Sacramento in March of 2015.
