I think not only should you be able to move it around on the shaft (and you can adjust it in this way apparently) but the bar should also adjust (slide adjust to shorten and lengthen with a locking pin slide adjuster).
If that's the darwins grip 6.1 it should be at the 10 o clock position and your arms should be straight not bent. It will be much better for you looks like you need to attach it lower on the trimmer

FWIW, Your arm is still bent, so it's defeating the purpose. Move it further down the shaft, and find the sweet spot 😊

I'm 6 ft 2 and mine is alot lower so my arms are straight. That's the sweet spot !!

According to the Darwin's installation video, your grip is too high up. Your left arm should be straight, not bent.

I think the grip needs to be moved down a little bit more because you are using your elbow little too much!!!
