Hey Vicky! I don't respond to a lot of videos that I watch. But I came across this video today and I just had to say something to you about it. I love planners and I haven't been in the community that long (less than a year). Problem is, I started out very excited and went out bought what I "thought" I wanted to plan in (Happy Planner). I was wrong. I Love the the "look" of it and all of the hype on YT but in essence they were a waste of money. Long story short....Here I am with all this supplies and planners that I don't use and have been stressing and struggling in how to figure out how to to use them. I want to say thank you for making me feel much better about having so many planners and realizing that I can just put it aside and come back to it later if I want. They are all planners that I still love but I realize that I have a journey in front of me find that perfect planner for the purpose that I need it for. Again, thank you for your candidness. You have a new subbie in me!!! Best wishes!!
Thank you for watching and sharing such kind words! Thank you for subscribing!! It's just fun and this hobby is so much fun. It makes us happy and if it starts to frustrate you put it aside and you might find another use for it!! It's part of the exciting adventure!! xoxo
This was a really interesting video! I never thought of having an index in the back, that idea is quite appealing to me. I'm really keen on the memory keeping and planing in one area, it looks really lovely on the page!
I have the Carpe Diem composition cover. If you have a Staples nearby, or order from them, their Staples brand grid composition books have the smaller grid (close to Hobonichi) and it is light, not bold!
Oh I totally feel your need to surround yourself with beautiful leather and yummy planner goodness!! It doesn’t bother me to have unfinished books either although if they’re dated it does so I try to use undated in all my planners/ TN’s. The itch to switch is real yo! Lol 😂
i have not had any issue with the elastic on my roterfaden -- but i don't generally stuff it too much -- just an a5 stalogy, a few roterfaden sheet protectors and a flow journal at the moment... that's just my experience. :) love the video -- thank you!!
I would have loved that you would put the names of all those planners in the description box. Love your passion to your journals and THANK YOU so much for saying that it's ok to have multiple... that's what happens to me.. I force myself to use some and then I just give up because I lose interest. So will try your way!
Love the video! Great ideas to take away😊 Switching around covers keeps things more fresh. Btw, the hole in your Keeper from MNL is for your phone cord, so don’t worry, you didn’t lose anything 😉☺️
I like variety. I like to change but it can also be a pain or cause me to be less organized if I forget which book I used at what time and for what purpose. I like the freedom but I feel for organized when I stick to one for at least a few months
So funny. I used a Covey in my work from 1993 to Dec. 2015 when I retired. Then I wanted something different. Used Lilly Pulitzer, Erin Condren and Inkwell Press. Then I tried Bullet Journaling. I like it but didn't love it. Just jumped back into a FC compact. Using FC's system. Hard to find the right system but am not an artist and disliked the future planning in my bullet Journal and dreaded the beginning of a month and/or week. Hope this FC is going to give me planner peace Thx for the video.
Oh and also I found the hole where you thought something fell out of your Keep it MNL is actually for a phone charger. I don’t know how it works as I don’t own one but from the picture the cheater is connected to the phone and goes through it. Hope that helps!
when you change your planner though, do you move out the notebooks to then put into another journal. I find it difficult though when I go to chane, but the planner is a different size, and then I may have to change the notebooks too, and they may only be partially filled,.
Hey Miss Vicky.. Great comparisons video and your thought process. thanks for sharing! Quick question.. Where did you get the Note from a Witch notepad? CreativeBlessings!
I have been in some form of planner since the mid 80s. One of the things I love is always having past and current events with me. I can easily give the dates events occurred or will occur. How do u keep track of events when u are switching between journals?

Absolutely! Love the undated planners! I’m a case manager so I agree on keeping the inserts simple and professional

The itch to switch, love it!
Love the term "Brain spill" vs brain dump.

Thank you for sharing I will have to check it out!!
Enjoyed hearing your thinking about planner choices :) Nice collection! Ideas I will consider. Thanks

I would really love to know what the last of your journal is? I couldn't get the name properly... :(

EEEEEKKKK!!! Thank you for telling me that!! I was searching on the floor to find a missing 'something' to put in there!!!
This is great. I loved last year's 2016 planner evolution video. I know they kind of overlap but you should do a journal evolution too
Great idea I will work on that!

Have you done a total collection video recently? I would like to see how it has grown and what you have now

Kelly Henkins I found that in the target dollar spot!
What is the turquoise/blue ink you use in the Leuchtturm?
It was at 5:00 minutes I believe

I always write the dates on anything and everything that I write!
MissVickybee what if you are out and end up needing to reference something from a prior month that is in another book?
Where did you get the recipes? I could not find them.
