Quick tutorial on making the most out of your test tiles and see how I test various combinations of mineral oxides blended with Jane Scott pigment free underglaze medium.
Here is the link to my pottery shop where you can buy underglaze, coloured slips and other lovely pottery related things! 😁:

Hey Jane, thanks for your videos, seen so many bone dry pottery videos! its a really nice find someone making it simple and relaxed.
Hahaha thanks 👍🏼
Jane- Your method is better than you are giving it credit for. You said your method gives 5 different examples. It actually gives out 9. If you used the last column on the right for a third coat of the vertical glaze your method would result in 12 examples! (That right column as it is in your example is a repeat of the first column.) Great idea.
Hi Jane, great video. Is there any place where I can see the results of your testing? I'd love to see how those tiles came out. Thanks!
Come and visit me in Corsham and I can show you 😀
Hi Jane, what is the underglaze medium made of? Thanks.
Yeah, Google isn't being very helpful finding info on underglaze 'medium'.
What is the underglaze medium made of or where can I get it?
Vous le fabriquez comment votre médium?
Dear Jane, is the glaze medium a clear underglaze or what exactly is it?
The underglaze medium base a high degree of opacity and can be used as slightly off white underglaze so not transparent at all. 👍🏼
What do you use to write on the back of the tiles please?
I just use a cocktail stick!
Hi, Jane! can I use containers with metal lids, other than aluminum, to store oxides?
Mmmmm, good question - I’m not sure! Plastic is probably the safe option... 😁
Jane, that's what I thought, plastics are the safest material. I will provide. Thanks. take care of yourself.
Have these fired samples been shown anywhere yet?
Yes, check out my Instagram profile 👍🏼
@@JaneScottCeramics Thanks - always forget that possibility because I don't do Instagram!
Hi where do you live Jane and how much does a course cost and how many hours are there
Hello there Juliana, I live in a little village called Holt in Wiltshire, UK - you can look on my website for all the information about classes etc. www.janescottceramics.com. The various options for doing pottery here are all different... ❤️
Where are you???? 😌

Yea! I’m asking where you are, because I haven’t seen a new video. I worried about your health.
