I have just finished watching this series on Iplayer.What a fantastic series with superb actors portraying a group of brave unconventional and free-thinking men and women who played a crucial part in defeating the Axis Forces.
What is it with this faux chivalry, they were all men. Why can't we acknowledge and honour their sacrifice. Let's say the topic is sexual assault survivors. That's never men and women.
She did not speak French but Arabic at the begining. Good choice to not follow the script on this one since they were in Cairo, not Casablanca, I believe.
Sofia Boutella is such a dish and turning into such a great actress. You can sense she was a dancer. Her control over her body and screen presence is palpable.
Now she is the best ❤❤❤

Stirling asked De Gaulle the "permission to borrow" the 1st CCP (airborne rangers) of Cpt Bergé.
De Gaulle agreed due to the "Auld Alliance" (Stirling was Scottish).
Bergé was one of the co-founders, and on five SAS, two were french (3rd and 4th). The 5th was belgian.
