Awesome! I have seen the finished product and to think that one man built an amazing boat house (and beautiful house) practically all by himself using ingenuity, sheer hard work, and determination reflects the essence of how the American Dream can be achieved. Most people could never appreciate the labor of love and sweat that went into what he and his family built versus the assumption it was all simply paid for. Well Done!
The Waters at Lake Anna... warm side. From main pond go under Elk Creek bridge then under power lines and straight ahead. Blue boathouse and house.@@mhaggerty7484
Nice setup for smaller jobs especially because you can operate by yourself or with a small crew, I build docks on lake Anna myself and we use a barge with a post hammer, we drive 20-40 (20-28ft 6x6s) a day with no problem.
Late reply but it is a post driver that was originally designed to be on a 3-point hitch. Worksaver is the brand and mine is the 10" version but I suspect the 8" version would work just fine. Good luck. @@UPutTheGayInGangster
Is that you? Of course Itzu! BBQ Utz are there (but behind the camera). We still use Robin's ski... you guys should come to LKA and reclaim it some time.
@@williamwojcieszek4320 Yeah... probably not the most effective use of my time but what the hey... I learned how to weld and now have 63K views :). I still have the old blue & gray MC and pull it out every other year or so and take the kids skiing. Hope you, R, and kids are doing well.
@@lluttsch2 Wow, that’s amazing! What a great little barefooter! Hope you guys are doing great as well. I have 2 girls - Junior in high school and an 8th grader. I retired December 31, 2020. What are you guys up to?
Same. My last day was May 31, 2019 and now spend most of my time driving our daughter around (she plays ice hockey and has a 55 game schedule this year... the teams in her league are in NY, NJ, PA, MD, VA, and NC with tournaments in places like Detroit and Harford... that and building an airplane (Vans RV-14... see this www.vansaircraft.com/rv-14/). I'm not sure that retirement will be permanent but I'm enjoying it for now. Our oldest daughter is a junior at Boston University and son is a freshman at Penn State (youngest is a sophomore in high school).

What kind of hammer are you using? I’m trying to figure out a set up...
