The dance sequence is an astounding piece of parody / homage with the forced timing producing this louche joy in it. The venue, the cast, the dancer’s untucked shirt, the high wire act of it all. Brilliant. I came back to this in Melbourne under a second lock down. It helps and this is serious. As a 64 year old you take it where you can get it.

Still as great as the year's go by. I love seeing this songs in my moon videos back in 2017 and 18. Got me through heartbreak and cancer at the same time. I still cry it out as he left before I started the battle of my life heartbroken but couldn't even deal with his loss as I was fighting that horrible terminal squamous cell carcinoma that spread to my bones plus endometrial cancer. Then in 2020 I was told I was cancer free and I missed him more than ever and all I have are those memories before I lost my memory while fighting. Now he's with me always trapped forever in these notes.

Perfect song. It engraved into my mind as I was on the verge of falling asleep in the evening while listening it on BBC London 94.9. Very wonderful, but also sad to me, because it makes me think of the woman I love who does not love me and is in a relationship with someone else. They are happy, so am I for her, but on the other hand I am frustrated and I cannot get over it, because she is the one for me and I know it. She is constantly on my mind. :(

She's the only one who doesn't walk in at the beginning and the only one who doesn't walk out at the end - like she's stuck here, only living on this dance floor. The choreography spotlights her as the center of attention, but it also isolates her - at times, it even comes close to reducing her to a prop, with how much she's being lifted and carried around by others. And that huge smile she keeps up the whole time just vanishes as soon as the dance ends, as everyone else is walking out in pairs and leaving her still on the floor, unsteady and alone... ... am I reading too much into this?
I too felt that she had a 'Marionette' quality about her, as if once everyone had gone home and the lights were turned off, she would flop down like a 'Rag Doll' and just wait there til they come back

Im not a f hipster, i just said what i thought because despite of the radical change of white lies in this video they are still as good as when they started.
