Awesome video! Speaking of the automax on the beginning, I got the last swoosh at RTR. Very innovative tunnel portal, a lot of times custom builds expands the possibilities and suits your desires. Very innovative use of the door trims.
One suggestion... I do this all of the time because making them is much fun and then casting them with a latex mold is very cheep... When gluing on the returns for the cap (you used colonial trim from Lowe's) if you put a very light coat of caulk on the joint, it will ooze out and you can just wipe it off. This is much easier than going back after and trying to fill the gap (if there is one). The caulk will also glue the piece.
@allaboard321 Hi! The curves you mentioned sound ok so long as you don't run really long cars, like auto racks and 89'flat cars on both tracks. If you have cars like this test them on the curves you have and you will soon see if they crash together or not. If they do you may have to use 18 inch curves instead of 22 inch.
