YES! I totally forgot how funny and legit this movie was. I mistakenly categorized it as ‘somewhere between a comedy and fighting film,’ so it never comes to mind when I think of comedy or fighting movies
funny and badass. Theres not been many movies after it that have this insane amount of cgi and effects. This is the closests anyone will ever get to anime irl. Even anime live actions they've done dont hold a candle.
The soccer scene at the beginner was his response to the continued calls for him to make a follow up to his movie "Shaolin Soccer". Very clearly stating "No more soccer" 😂.
8:14 No one ever reacts to that subtle snicker he does when the other guy is in the trash can. That part always makes me chuckle him being amused by his fellow axe gang member dying in the trash
This is still hands down, one of the hardest fighting scenes in cinematic history. Although it has comedic elements to it, it was choreographed well. Almost just as good as the fight scene in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. Stephen Chow is such an underrated master of cinema.
A part they been bullying always give me a goosebumps. Because im the one of victims in hostel school. Even now im capable to protect my self and ok after gym. Im still remember every inch of pain
This movie is perfect blend of comedy, action and emotions but for some reason most of these reacters keep laughing while watching the movie even if its an emotional scene. Idk why they gotta be so dumb
