From Chicago....my mom would always get upset cause they would ask me what I wanted to be when I grew up and I said a gangster. They're from Philly and I never asked what my father did for a living. Her best friend was the witness relocation program cause the mob was trying to kill her ex husband...leave it at that....i hate saying this but i've been locked up...they don't uncuff you while interrogating you...at least where I'm from. I was locked up with my buddy from high school and we just started singing voodoo child by Jimi while handcuffed to the tables across from one another in the interrogating rooms.(It was for weed nothing violent or sexual)

Bane is a great character and Tom Hardy plays him perfectly. I've gone off Batman now. Sometimes the villains must win.

When I first saw that fight, I couldn't imagine how shocking it was to movie audiences, not having any superpowers, just two big brute force enemies. And when he knocked Batman to the ground, it was really... shocking.

And there was something especially scary about a villain not just him but his henchmen all sharing the same wheel and spirit. None of them weak all of them standing in silence knowing that their leader is going to win. That is ominous that is scary that is powerful, and we haven’t seen a scene like this since.

IDGAF what anyone says about this but Banes quotes during this fight sequence are some of the best in film history. “Peace has cost you your strength. Victory has defeated you” gives me chills every time.
