To think that less than a year ago I thought rock was dead. Thank you to the random stranger who commented on a video I was watching about music who told me to watch Band Maid. I've now immersed myself in their catalog, experienced them live and discovered a lot more new music through them. Rock is so, SO far from dead

That is Sooooo Cooool.... Thanks for posting. That is a large arena, I think holding 17,000 max capacity. Nippon Budokan seats 14,500. Not sure what the attendance was, but the Maid's put that large stage use.... MISA and Saiki went for hikes..... Ha ha.... Glad I could see this song at Yokohama.... If I had time and money I would've been there.
They love getting close to the fans and still managed that in this huge arena setup! Feel very fortunate to be able to be there and to share this song with everyone.❤❤❤

This show was an amazing success, and Akane finally got a proper drum solo and man is she more talented than I previously thought. Only criticism I have is how weak to audience was for how big the place was and for how many people were there, should have been waaaay louder but it was still incredible to watch. Actually gonna watch it again later today.
Yes, I just started watching the stream and agree it was much louder in person. The audiences in Japan are great with everyone singing and moving in unison.
@@johnmatthew102 I think they learned from Shibuya. But I would have pumped the ambience up 20%, especially after the song. Maybe in the final release. ;-)
What a show to perform your first solo piano song at. All the band have reached new heights of ability and professionalism, but Saiki is always so impressive in her performances. Me thinks that this his all the work of Kanami, to improve the capabilities of the band. With Miku playing more elements of songs on the guitar- not just rhythm, and Saiki now playing piano the future looks good.
Thanks for upload. I'll need to find time to purchase and watch the concert stream. The new outfits look great, and reading the news for the next year, new album, collabs with other artists, concert for songs not played here, and an acoustic okyuji!

Akane had a couple of the heart felt moment of the night. That one and her final bow to the audience at the end of the show! Hope they make it back to Europe soon!

When the piano was carried to the middle of the stage, I thought we could finally hear Mincho play the piano live. But the one who played the piano was Sai-chan. I didn't see that coming.

SAIKI also did an acoustic piano version earlier in the concert. What a great show. SAIKI’s voice got stronger with each song.
Her acoustic was a total surprise and so good! I have seen her several time since 2022 and her voice during this show was the best yet!!
Now I'm going to call them Maid Zeppelin. It was an unforgettable show😍 Thanks Richard.

I was there and the crowd was actually really good and super loud, you just couldn’t hear it from the stream.

And I think having the audience mics turned down improved the sound quality of the live stream. It was surprisingly crisp.
Guaranteed they raise the audience volume in post-production.

BAND-MAIDは好きで曲作りも素晴らしいとは思いますが自分は音楽ライブにおいてはお金をやたらかけたり派手な演出はいらない派なのでこれを見て複雑な気持ちです。花道はあってもいいとは思いますが広い会場ゆえにやたら花道が長かったり極端な話しライブハウスのような小さな所でもバンドの個性と曲がしっかりしていれば横浜アリーナのような立派な会場じゃなくても観ていて面白いものです。某音楽プロデューサーが昔こんな事をいってましたが舞台の装置をみて僕はいくらお金がかかってるかわかると言ってましたが音楽プロデューサーなのに内容じゃなくそこかい！と思ってました。個人的には音楽ライブは舞台や演出にいくらお金をかけたのではなく内容の濃さだと思っていますので。彼女達のように有名になり出世するとまわりに色んな人がつくのでこうゆう立派な会場で少し過剰な演出もしょうがないのかも知れません。今後彼女達の個性が奪われないことを願うばかりです。
このイベントは主に過去10年間に彼らが達成したことを祝うことが目的だったと思いますが、これを行うには大きなアリーナが必要でした。これからももっと小さな会場でファンとの距離を近くしてライブをしてくれると思います!!
現地にいたけど、アリーナでも相変わらずBAND-MAIDらしさ全開で最高のライブでした！

Was more like 80%, but it’s no different from any other hard rock/metal show.
There were more women there than I had thought. Some of them seemed to me to be in their twenties or thirties.
Oh, no more than 99% haha! There actually were a fair number of princesses but everyone kinda dressed the same as it was so cold and damp today.
