The pace of these songs seems to get her keyed up which speeds up her vibrato to me. Not only was it church, it was very James Brown in execution! She came & “joined” the audience on Respect, cuz she knew everybody was gone sing it! Lol! Btw, Jaron, those frames are ALL the things! Fun video!

Those are my favorite of hers too. I remember loving her and going crazy in high school for her to win. My mom and I sat and voted forever. She still slays every performance and is truly her. I absolutely love Fantasia. Was able to meet her when she was on American Idol and what a sweet, loving lady. One thing I’ve noticed with her singing would be the “quiver” her mouth has when she’s in-between notes and sometimes she do a “shout” after a note.
