- In my opinion one of the best Danko/Manuel "living room" shows from Folk City in 1985..Rick and Richard are top of there game here! full of energy and sound great! Please notice the comedic introduction by Rick in which he dedicates this tune to Paul Butterfeild who was also in the house that night and his heard playing Harmonica..Will upload more from this amazing show. In memory of Rick and Richard whos spirits live on and are captured amazingly here.

I missed seeing Danko play in Ann Arbor Mich at a bar. I believe he passed not long afterward. Wish I could do that night again..

I wasn’t there, so this is only a guess, but I think that Rick was probably being a little goofy and sang a few lines directly to Butterfield. I think something visually was going on on stage and that elicited the laughter.

He's the second greatest lead singer in rock history, behind the guy he's appearing with here.
You need to listen to more of Rick Danko's songs. "It makes no difference", and Stage Freight both from The Last Waltz. The Long Black Veil, from "Music from the BIg Pink", and same song from 1983 with The Band sans Robbie Robertson. All are great.
