    Window washer here. For the insides u can use recycled medical towels instead of paper towels, and also bring a couple bath towels in and lay them on the floor under the window to and u can use them to wipe any water that has come down or wipe ur squeegee on to dry it

    Austin, I created a way to clean screens and tracks without taking them off. I use the window mop dawn detergent and a little white vinegar, then after a few passes, I wrap a towel around the mop and wipe it clean. I did it upstairs in my home and the screens look almost invisible - inside and out using the same technique. Needed to do several passes. No more taking screens off. I know most people must have filthy tracks but I managed to clean them with a small vacuum and paper towels.

    Hey Austin, first off huge thanks for all the content! With that wfp and the di setup you can clean solar panels the same exact way! Make sure you have a TDS sensor to measure the ppm coming from the di setup. It also will let you know when its time to swap out the resin! Thanks again man! You’re an inspiration and have helped me out tremendously!

    19 years a window cleaner (UK) one thing i have to agree on is the mindless work part lol. I speak to my cousin on the phone all day whilst working as he's a window cleaner as well without that conversation it's a real struggle! But the pay is very good for the amount of hours you work. Great flexibility. One thing i would say to anyone looking to get into this is yes it pays well but you NEED to have the customer base! i have mine of a monthly basis (residential). It will take a months/years to get to a good size customer base depending on the effort you put in. Good video Austin. 👍

    Best way to clean the windows from inside is dawn and water combo, rags with the green swiffer mop and if you leave any streak wipe it dry.

  • @Realdota

    Hey Austin, great content! Could you filter that de-ionized water into a spray bottle & use that with a squeegee for interior windows? My mind tells me it would be a great solution for saving time considering it would negate streaks, in theory. What are you thoughts?

    Wouldnt a blue scratch resistant pad work instead of steel whool... I used it many years ago. and for hard water stains, Use Stainless steel cleaner,, and spray windows with water to dilute. It works well....

    You can also use steel wool for foiled windows if the windows are very dirty and have water stains 🤝🫡🙏

    Yellow hose connects the the hose spicket I’m guessing then that runs the water through the system. The red hose connects to one of the outlets on the WFP on your trailer? Do you ever run out of red hose since it’s far from the building connected to the trailer?

  • @pjaydomingo6629

    Hey Austin, can you also do solar panel cleaning on this system or is this just specifically for window cleaning?

  • @jjgionet1735
    @jjgionet1735 5 місяців тому

    I am very intrigued by this system. I think buying a 3 stage pure water system would be a perfect way to slowly get into the soft wash/pressure wash industry. In Canada you can buy a tucker 3 stage system everything included for approximately $3200 CAD. Ideally you find monthly or quarterly accounts, from there see the clients needs and upsell from there with house, roof or driveway services. My biggest question on pure water window cleaning is what is industry standard pricing. Big windows vs small windows, ground level vs 3rd floor windows. Also how do you wash windows with a screen? Thanks Austin

    I'm thinking about adding window cleaning to my pressure washing services. How texting is it on your shoulders? I'm not 26 anymore so trying to preserve my body. Would you say the $2k set up you have is a good one to start with if you've never checked windows before?

      @4everabeast79 great idea trying on starting windows cleaning biz with wfp. I have been using the system for about 4 years now. It’s a game changer. What I suggest is start small by buying a used system cheaply then go up from there. I started by doing traditional way using a squeegee then I purchased a used di system for about $300 then up to a 5K multi system in less than a year. You can do it bro very quickly 👍🏾

    I've learned some things from you man and I'm grateful for that but your ego is just out of control. I identify due to my own life but it's a reminder to me to do my best to not be this way. I volunteer my time frequently in an attempt to make up for my ego. Its actually sad. The ego is a challenge to control sometimes but progress not perfection.
    I unsubbed a while ago because I couldn't deal with the ego and its strictly because I'm the same way. It can get lonely at times for sure. I'm recognizing this now I would have never seen this in my 20's . My daughters mom is 28 the same thing. She's oblivious. It's amazing what you learn from 28 to 42.
